4 Years Later..
Susmita and Ananya were walking around the college campus together and chatting with each other in their break time."You've changed so much.", said Susmita.
"How?", asked Ananya looking forward.
" Like you've became more overbearing than you used to be. You're so popular my every friend asks me about you even more so than before, but none of them have the guts to approach you so they keep asking me favours.", replied Susmita in her bubbly voice looking at the gorgeous noble woman by her side.
"That means nothing much has changed.", said Ananya nonchalantly.
"Yes it has, I hardly get to see you even though we are in the same college, even after God-knows-what you did to the principal and dragged me here.", grumbled the young girl.
"That's because you know I am busy with work, dad has handed over all his companies to me and I have established my own companies and factories to broaden the family business too, someone has to take care of the business, in this case it's me which is why it leaves me no time to come to college regularly like other students, but I do call you everyday right?", explained the lady.
"Yeah I know but still.. you're so young but already handling the family business, you're really amazing. I get so furious when some people say bad things about you like- she only got to do the family business because the Kaurs dont have a son, when she will marry eventually a man will take over the business in the end, or when they say, she's just a woman. I'm like, so what if she's a woman she's 99999999999 times more capable than you ever will be!", said Susmita in a grumpy manner earning a laugh from Ananya.
"Hahaha...Oh..my..Haha..I know right lol? India has a patriarchal society so that's expected but I dont give a fuck anyways.", said Ananya growing serious after happily laughing for a few seconds enjoying the younger girl's company.
The younger girl enjoying the lady's assertive remark started laughing too.
"I know politics better than the politicians here, and yet I don't step in this race as I'm not a politician but a businesswoman, I stand back and watch the chess pieces as they all fall. But seriously if I am that good why don't you just marry me sweetheart?", said Ananya with a wide smile half serious and half teasing the younger girl.
Susmita just blushed awkwardly and said,"Oh my good Lord..."
Ananya continued,"And what did you mean by I did to the principal? I simply had a word with him and he decided to enroll you at his college, your marks weren't that bad to begin with, had you not been so stubborn about choosing General Arts I would've made you attend the same classes with me."
"My marks were average unlike you who ranked top in HS, how do you even do it..like every time?", asked Susmita changing the tone of her voice into an 'are-you-for-real?' style, earning another sweet chuckle from the young lady walking beside her.
She continued.."That's why it's only natural for me to find this suspicious, why would an elite top ranking college like this let me study here? And besides, I didn't want to come to such a fancy high-five college in the first place, everywhere I see there are only nobles and top rankers, I feel like an outcast in this space especially when I'm without you.", complained Susmita in a weak tone.
Despite Susmita's discomfort Ananya was feeling very satisfied to see Susmita needing her, however she didn't show it.
"That's why I told you to choose the same stream as me, didn't I?", stated Ananya calmly.
