Lost Memories [Pantalone x Dottore] Season 2

The Ending

The recovering process is much rougher for Pantalone. He feel turning on most of the time yet that is the least of his problems. He cannot walk anymore and luckily it is not permanent Dottore told him so only for now he needs a wheelchair. He been a full week and still that door to the meeting hall is frozen...still no word from either the Tsaritsa or Pierro so they must still be fighting.
Sitting at the window to look outside of the window he just stares outside seeing his reflection in the mirror and sees the bruises have lessened yet they sadly are still there. He can see Dottore enter the home so he turns around yet it is unexpected that somebody jumps on his lap and hugs him tightly.

"Who hurted you?! Ill kick their butt!" Isabella spoke hugging her father.

Dottore chuckles taking his scarf and cloak of before he walks over to them and helps Isabella take her fluffy headband off, her scarf off, her coat and gloves off "you sure have picked up a few characteristics of the captain" the doctor spoke and puts her stuff by their cloaks near the front door.

Pantalone smiles softly and hugs the little girl back rubbing the back of her head gently not minding it the way she talked finding it rather funny "are you going to stay over here for a bit?" Seeing her nod he smiles and presses a kiss on her forehead since he has missed her a lot "I am glad. Have they been treating you good?"

"Of course they have!" She smiles brightly and gets off her father his lap rushing to her bag Dottore has put aside taking something out of it as she runs back to Pantalone handing him a small box." It is a gift!" Because christmas is in a few days...I cannot contain my excitement so I just wanted you to give this right now."

Opening the gift Pantalone looks at what it is as he looks at it and then at her "a key?"

She nods and smiles brightly "its the key to Lucio his house! Uncle Lucio told me you can come and go whenever you want as you are like family to him!"

"Where is my key. Doesn't uncle Lucio like me?" Dottore jokingly said yet seeing the look Isabella gave him caused him to laugh and put his hands up in the air in defense "it was a joke. "

"Hmm" Isabella hums softly unamussd still not happy with what he did to Lucio back them yet when she looks up at her father she smiles back at him "Doooo you like it? I know it is nothing to big but you know. Now you don't have to wait for somebody to open the door"

Pantalone nods and smiles softly at her gently carressing the back of her head and plays with her golden hair "it is perfect." He smiles at her "tell uncle Lucio a thank you when you go back home okay?" Seeing
Isabella nod and smile so brightly he feels happy. It was a good decision for Lucio to practically adopt her because she seems much happier now that she gets all the attention and love in the world. He gives her a gentle nudge gesturing at Dottore "you want to decorate the tree?"

"OH usually the tree is so largeeee yet this one is small! Oh oh! I have never decorated it before!" She exciredly says and runs to Dottore.

Pantalone watches them decorate the tree together as he smiles softly at them both just admiring them as he is happy they finally can get along super well. In the beginning he remember how terrified she was of Dottore yet not she is sitting on his shoulders to put the peak ontop of the tree as he was so zoned out looking at them he does not know two hours has passed as he only snaps out of it when Isabella takes his hands. "Can we make cookies?!"

Pantalone nods and gives her a smile "of course... go ahead. Dottore will help you"
he watches the girl run of to the kitchen as he watches Dottore approach him.

Kneeling down infront of the other he gently takes Pantalone his hands and kisses his knuckles gently "are you doing well? Are you feeling tired?"

"A little yes. I know I should not feel happy after what happened to me recently yet I am...so so...happy...to see you and her interact. To see her stay over again" he smiles softly and holds Dottore his hands back resting his forehead against his "I am so happy because of you" he whisperd.
