THE ONCELERS POV
I had just arrived at the beautiful Truffula forest with my trusted mule, Melvin. The grass was a green colour, so full of life. I was greeted with the sound of the Swomee-Swans singing their special songs. In the pond, the humming fish hummed and under the shade of the multi-coloured trees I saw brown Bar-ba-loots eating the Truffula fruits. but the thing that caught my eye first was those trees! Those Truffula trees! All my life I had been searching for trees such as these! The touch of their tufts were softer than silk and they had the sweet smell of butterfly milk. This was the place! The place where I would make my thneed!
This place was perfect! I knew what I would do, so I unloaded my cart and built my small shop where I would sell thneeds for all people far and wide. But first, I had to chop down one of the trees to make my thneed. Without any hesitation, I swung my axe and with one chop the tree fell down. I started knitting my thneed skilfully and with great speed.
While I was knitting, something strange had happened. Something I hadn't noticed in the moment. The sky had turned grey and clouds started forming but I was too focused on knitting my first ever thneed to notice. Now that I think about it, It would've been quite hard to not notice all of the thunder and lightning but I've always been an oblivious person.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed at the top of my lungs and toppled over.
An orange furry creature had appeared and it seemed to be...shouting at me? This was a bit strange. I managed to get onto my knees and stand up
THE LORAXES POV
"LEAVE!" I shouted
How dare this intruder come into MY forest and chop down one of MY trees. For what purpose? Why is he here? I didn't feel like finding out in that moment as I was overcome by anger.
"Who are you?!? What are you?!?!" He said
I was greatly offended by this
"I THINK IM THE ONE WHO SHOULD BE ASKING THE QUESTIONS HERE... YOU ANSWER MY QUESTIONS AND I WILL ANSWER YOURS. FIRSTLY, WHAT IS YOUR BUSINESS HERE AND SECONDLY... GET OUT!"
"Woah woah woah! Calm down buddy, I didn't do anything! You see.....uhmmm"
Ugh I can already tell this man is foolish, I don't want him anywhere near me. I just hope he leaves without any more issues.
THE ONCELERS POV
I knew this....thing... wasn't going to leave any time soon so I had to take matters into my own hands
"WHATS THAT!? OVER THERE!" I pointed into the distance
As he looked away I took this chance to run deep down into the forest, where he wouldn't find me
THE LORAXES POV
I turned back around and saw the man was nowhere to be seen. Had I been tricked? I wouldn't be leaving anytime soon until I was 100% certain he has left.
This man was not making it easy for me.
I grunted and ran down into the forest after him.
