Blake POV
A Black sedan pulled up to the driveway of a newly constructed 2 story house opposite mine. Inside the car I saw a pair of painfully beautiful icy eyes staring at me I stared back as I saw a small smirk line her pale face before she broke eye contact. I was in a daze for a few minutes when she walked out of the car wearing black ripped jeans and an oversized grey T-shirt with a band printed on it. She glanced over at me and then turned towards a moving van stopping outside the driveway. Her parents started talking to the movers as they started moving the furniture into the house. I watched as she disappeared inside her house directing the movers to place the furniture in certain places. Matt tapped me on my shoulder as I finally snapped out of my trance and turned towards him. "You good bro?" he asked looking a bit confused, "yeah man, I'm good." "That's  Edward Scott and his family, they just moved into town," he said "Yeah, I figured with the moving van and all" I deadpanned. Ignoring me he continued "Dad told me to stay away from them..  said something about Edward being bad news, the girl is pretty tho am I right?"
"You're stupid. Maybe if you focused on studying instead of choosing a girl to date next week you'll get somewhere" I responded.

*time skip: 1 week later*
Aurelia POV
" Do we need to go and greet the neighbors?"
I asked  "Yes honey, It's called socializing" my mom responded while placing her delicious red velvet cupcakes in a box, "yeah yeah whatever." As much as I did not like meeting new people, I loved my mom, and small things like this make her happy. "Let's go honey!" she said smiling and walking towards the front door "Wait up Mom!!" I called after she closed the door after me. We walked up the driveway of the house opposite to ours, it was a beautiful European-style house with a pale blue roof and ivory walls.
I knocked on the door and waited. The door opened to a kind-looking woman with striking emerald eyes and a soft face. "Hello there! We're your new neighbors, I'm Adeline Scott and this here is my daughter Aurelia!" my mom spoke. " Hi! Nice to meet you Adeline, come inside" She invited us inside. The inside of the house was even more prettier it had the same ivory walls with pale blue accents here and there. " I'm Rachel Ashford, thank you for the cupcakes!" the lady spoke "You're welcome!" my mom chirped. "MOM!! Do you know where my charger is?" a voice spoke coming down the stairs.
I froze when I met the familiar green eyes. It was the boy from moving day.

Blake POV
"MOM!! Do you know where my charger is?" I shouted as I needed it to charge my phone before I went out. As I got down the stairs I heard people talking, I walked into the room and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw her. Her blue eyes stared into my soul. "This is my son." My mom said as she broke eye contact and turned towards her. "Introduce yourself honey" she spoke "Huh? Oh right! Umm- hi, I'm Blake, Blake Ashford. Nice to meet you" Her mom introduced herself and the girl.
Aurelia I thought, that's such a nice name. They talked for a bit more and we're now moving towards the door to go out. " Thank you so much for having us, Rachel! We had a fun time talking" her mom said " It's our pleasure, Adeline, see you soon!" my mom chirped as I glanced towards Aurelia and saw that same faint smirk on her face as she walked past me and out the door.

I just met this girl and she's already consuming my thoughts. Bryxton just got a whole lot more interesting.
