"I'd like to have two eclairs and two of those strawberry tarts," Davis pointed at light pink tarts on the display counters

"I'd like to have two eclairs and two of those strawberry tarts," Davis pointed at light pink tarts on the display counters. Grandma Choi especially loved those strawberry tarts and would nag Davis to bring one for her, on his way back from work, every few days.

"Sure," the lady at the counter raised her eyes from her phone and they gradually grew larger as she looked at the man in front of her.

Davis was dressed in a silk cream shirt and beige pants. A tie hung loosely on his chest that was laid back for everyone's eye. His smooth skin glistened lightly through a few open buttons on the shirt and a gold pendant hung over it.

Over time, his hair had grown to his shoulders and it framed around his sharp face so well that he exuded the aura of a melancholic musician. Of course, his personality did not support such an appearance.

These last few days Davis had been feeling more exhausted than usual. His anxiety was over the notch feeling as if something bad would occur any moment and all of this was because of tempos recent movements.

After a few days of them announcing a collaboration between Gina Chan and Temp' O, a strange rumor started going around on the internet. it was not a very famous rumor but it was still there. Basically, it was a conspiracy thread made by an anonymous user on Weibo stating how Red Entertainment's music was similar to the music Temp'O used to produce in its early days of emergence. The conspiracy thread did not reach a large number of audience yet it remained on the internet despite of all the efforts Red Entertainment's PR team had made to remove the thread.

Davis was by now sure that Temp'O would strike them one day but the fact that they did not know when and how was just terrifying. How much did they know? What did they have with themselves that made them confident enough to move after a while of staying low?

It drove Davis to frustration!

Sighing heavily, Davis waited for the lady at the cashier to pack the sweets into their custom-made boxes. This dessert shop, although small, was very famous for its rustic-looking French interior and its authentic French pastries. The dessert shop was owned by a lady who was half French and grew up in France until she came and settled here. The young girl at the cashier was that lady's granddaughter.

"Wow, didn't expect to see you here," David heard a voice coming from behind and when he turned back, he found Atlas standing behind him.

"Ohh Hi," David stared at the tall man who was half a head taller than him. A sweet smile adored Atlas's face as he stared at Davis.

It was already weeks since Davis last saw Atlas on the Dinner with Lu's, Lin's and Jones. This man was like a ghost, he was so private that there was barely anything about him on the internet. Whatever he did find on the internet just talked about who Atlas was and that he was studying culinary in France.

Not like Davis tried to stalk Atlas when he reached home.

Atlas's gaze that was resting on Davis's face gently moved lower and then back to his face. Davis felt his breath hitch in his throat as he observed Atlas checking him out. The man in front of him was handsome to say the least and he looked interested too.

"Do you come here often?" Atlas asked snapping his gaze back onto Davis's face.

"Yes, I do, it falls on my way from to home from company," Davis answered after a pause but before he could say anything else a voice chanted from behind the cash register.

"Here sir," The lady spoke politely and handed a paper bag to Davis.

"Thank you," Davis mumbled while making his payment through his card. Once of was done, he turned to Atlas and waved goodbye. He couldn't wait to get out of the sight of this perfectly handsome man.

Atlas smiled and waved back. Then he walked to the cashier who again couldn't help but bulge her eyes out as she stared at another handsome man.

Davis left the desert shop and as he walked to his car, he couldn't help but wonder what Atlast was doing in the Eastern most industrial area of the city.

While Davis went back to his villa to his Grandma, another news article surfaced on the internet.
