TW: Cursing, mention of alcohol

((Y/n)'s pov)

I look back at Heather, only now noticing my pounding headache. How much wine did I have? And how am I still up right? "Are you okay?" Heather asked, I suddenly had the need to throw up. So I left my bed and ran to my bathroom. I was so lucky to make it right on time, because god damn that was a whole lot. "Are you done now?" Heather asked, I thought she was waiting on the bed... "I think I am." I said, Heather rolled her eyes.

"How much did I drink?" I asked, flushing the toilet and went to brush my teeth. "The rest of the bottle, which was way too much." Heather said, I hummed and brushed my teeth. "I am quite impressed on how you didn't collapse or had alcohol poisoning." Heather added. I had over done myself this time, but I don't think that waking up early will be in it for me.

"How's your head?" Heather asked, sadly my headache hasn't left and I don't think I'm sober either. "Bad, it hurts so much and I don't think I'm even sober." I answered, Heather chuckled a bit. "No shit, you should really rest. I'll get you something and your food." Heather said. "You don't have to do that, besides my mother would know that we drank." I said, Heather sighed again.

"Well, it's obvious that if we don't eat something, that she knows that we drank." Heather said, she was kind of right on this one. "And I'm not taking your drunk ass down stairs when you have pounding headache and can't even walk straight." She added, I was going to protest on that insult, but she was right. "We can't pretend like I'm sick either, because I was literally on your lap removing your make up. She'd never fall for that." I said, Heather shook her head.

"Of course we can say that you were sick. We'll say that you threw up just now and that I'm helping you." Heather said, I was very unsure of how this will work out. "And you think that you pretend taking care of me will look legit?" I asked, because from what I remember Heather is not the helping type. "How hard can it be? I'll help you to bed, get you water, feed you and then were set right?" Heather said, I sigh.

"But I don't look that sick right?" I asked, looking in my bathroom mirror. "I mean, you look horrible. But I can help you look like you're sick." Heather said, coming closer. "How?" I asked, Heather smirked, making me slightly concerned about what's about to happen. "Give me your make up bag." Heather asked, I opened one of the cabinets and took out my make up bag. Heather got to work straight away.

"And done!" Heather smiled, it didn't take as long as I thought. "I didn't have to do much, since you looked a bit sick already." Heather explained as I looked in the mirror. "I'm impressed to say the least, I didn't know you could do this." I said, Heather rolled her eyes and placed everything back in the bag. "I know a thing or two. But get to bed and I'll talk with your mom." She said, I roll my eyes and tried to get to my bed without falling over.

Luckily I made it safe to my bed and Heather tucked me in, she was surprisingly gentle. It was kind of like when we used to play pretend when we were younger, not that I'm complaining. "Now stay here and don't move." Heather told me, I nodded and she left my room. I could hear her walking down the stairs and then it went silent.

"Wake up!" Heather yelled as I was violently shaken awake. I might've fallen asleep in the time Heather was downstairs. "Finally took you long enough." She said, I groan and wiped my eyes. Now feeling a wet towel on my forehead. "I got you food and laid an towel on your forehead. Be grateful." Heather said, I slowly sat up and took the towel off my head. "I am, but please lower your voice." I mumbled, Heather sighed and rolled her eyes. "Whatever." She said, I sighed. I knew this wasn't the best idea, but here I am. "You should drink this, it'll help with your hangover." Heather said, handing me a glass of Sprite.

I was honestly barely processing what's happening. I took the drink from Heather's hand and took small sips. "How do you feel?" Heather eventually asked, I sighed. "Dead, like I've been hit by 2 trains." I said, Heather shook her head. "I'm the last person to say this, but you were quite stupid by drinking half a bottle of wine." Heather said, I nervously chuckled. "Sorry, I guess I got carried away." I said, Heather just groaned. "No shit sherlock! What you did was fucking reckless! And you were worried about me!" Heather yelled, pacing around the room.

All I could do was smile, she is so adorable when she's worried. It takes me back when I tried to prove myself towards Heather, but I'd end up getting into trouble. She would lecture like this, but we would always laugh about it a little later. "Are you even listening to me?!" She yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts.

(Heather's Pov)

I looked at (Y/n) waiting for her to answer me. She always got herself in trouble when she was trying to prove herself, but this had to be the dumbest reason and action she has ever done in the history of us being friends. But she isn't my friend anymore, but we made out... So what are we now? I mean I did claim to hate her didn't I, so it's not friends with benefits. A one night stand? God, why do you make me feel this way?! "Well? Answer me!" I said, she was out of it staring at me all confused, but so lovingly. She's probably isn't even sober, she wouldn't mean it.

"Oh! Sorry I got distracted!" She nervously giggled, I sigh. "You know what drop it, just drink the water I gave you." I said, turning away. I could feel my face getting hotter. Why was I getting so embarrassed all of a sudden? She took small sips from the glass and took a deep sigh. "It looks like you have a lot on your mind." She said, I turn back to her.

The glass was empty and her fingers were tapping against it. "What?" I asked, walking over to her. "I don't know, you're so nice to me... You insulted my mom like a week ago. I thought you were joking at first, but it never looked like it. It looked like you actually enjoy my company, it reminded me of when we were younger." She started, I never thought that she would remember that. I secretly hoped that she forgot about that... She does that often, remind me of the past.. Of who we used to be.

She looked up at me, her eyes were so pretty like that. I could feel the heat rising to my face. Gosh she rules my mind at this point.. "Are u alright? You're quite red." She asked, I shook my head. "I'm alright. Just eat." I huffed, a little smile creeped on her face.

Her hair was messy, her eyes were half lidded, her neck and shoulders had red lines over them. I smile slightly and turn my head towards the food. Her hand reached out for the plate and utensils resting besides it.

I look out the window which has a view over the backyard and a little over the fence into the front yard. The sun was setting and the sky was slowly turning orange.

This girl was confusing me so much to the point that it's infuriating me. I was suppose to make her life a living hell, I made sure everyone left her. But why, oh why do I want her?! She was the biggest loser, but there is something that keeps making me come back.

'Gosh it makes me sick how much I care...'
