News of Jack's questionable methods began to spread, causing concern among his allies and fellow heroes. They saw glimpses of the darkness consuming him, but they desperately clung to the hope that he could be saved.
A similar situation happened again, this time he was chasing down a criminal who had stolen a valuable artifact from a museum. The criminal had taken refuge in a crowded shopping mall, and Jack followed him inside. He didn't wait for backup and charged towards the criminal. In the ensuing chaos, he used his powers to destroy parts of the mall, causing injuries and damages to innocent people.
The city officials were outraged, and they launched an investigation into Jack's actions. They found out about his recent behavior and the concerns of his comrades and friends. They made a decision to send their one of the best heroes named Goldenheart.
One night Jack caught a gang of thugs who were kidnapping the kids. He rescued the kids but kept the thugs to torture them for his own pleasure, in the name to justice.
He tied their feet, hung them upside down and whipped them severely. He didn't stop when they lost their consciousness or simply their lives.
His actions comes to an abrupt halt when Goldenheart come to stop him.
