As in the description, this story contains spoilers for Soul of Yokai. I'd recommend you go read the story before reading this book as this story will not make a lot of sense and feel unsatisfying if you don't. Although, you probably already have.
I just want to make a note that the Nami in Birds of a Feather and the Nami in this book are different entities. While I don't hate either Nami, I think when I tried to make them the same person in both stories, I ended up not liking her in this context because I was making a Nami that fit Birds of a Feather more than this story. So this Nami will have a different backstory at the very least and different personality at most.
Anyway, that's all I have to say. Now, please enjoy the story. Or claw your eyes out while reading. That's the other alternative you're probably gonna do.
