Have you ever waken up to a bunch of people starring at you like your the chosen one or something. I have but that's because I am in a sense. If you call saving humanity being the chosen one.
Hundreds of years ago, long before even you or I were born satan himself came to earth. Using his demon army he took over the "middle realm" as he calls it. After a long rule rumors have started to spread that he was losing his powers. A year later a mob from the city nearest to his castle tried to raid his palace. He put each of their heads on a pike in the middle of every state in America and only America because he knew that all other country's would soon hear of this news.
That same year people had lost all hope in a hero. They had thought either Jesus or even god would help us. But no one ever showed. Eventually they got the idea that this was the rapture and we were all unworthy to be taken to heaven when it started. Now all we can do is survive.
After years of ruling on the surface satan decided to make this his permanent home. He left the ground open making a direct path to hell. With all the despair he was causing he didn't even need the souls of the dammed to give him power. He feed on the fear and death of the human race. With all the souls being unused they started to get stronger until they themselves came to the surface. Acting as servants they roam the earth causing death pain and despair.
Everyone soon lost hope thinking that god had moved on. Believing that he stopped caring. But really he was holding on to his trump card. Waiting for the exact moment to give humanity the advantage.
The day I was born was the day the humanity started to win. I am angel Demoss, and I am the holy knight.
