Resistance

The fear I felt I didn't let it stop me the man was fired and was going to spend the next 25 years in someplace. I was there at the sentencing. He is appealing the ruling; it doesn't go well for him. I found out where he was jailed, he's in general population. My nanny knows people, she tells me to tell them what I'd went through. The men and the wives look at me. I look down. I show them the man's face a drawing of it. I set a tablet down it is the court recording.

One of the men said he'd get to jail where he's at. That's all he said. I looked at him. "What are ye going to do... get arrested that's dumb" I say quietly. As I sat there, he asked if I had a better idea. I asked if any of the men knew code. They looked at me, I tell them about coding that'd yet to be cracked by any adult who didn't know the code I tell the ladies to write a letter to the men. I separate the code into three letters. I tell them to go visit the three men.

I tell them how the code worked. I asked them to send the last letter to someone who didn't mind getting life or who was already serving life. They did so the fourth letter was sent along with a 5th to another person who was smart. The letters were shifting key ciphers. The 5th letter was the letter that tells the men who to attack what his inmate number is. His name and his DOB. They were standing there as we are silent the letters got through mail services.

Though I was silent, I don't normally condone violence. I told them specifically I don't want his blood on my hands. If he died because it got out; he is a bad man than well that shit happened. They were supposed to rough him up only. My nanny showed me a video, the man is beaten up but still alive. They were silent as he was beaten up, he'd be in the infirmary for a while. Then I got the called about 3 weeks later he was killed someone related to one girl.

They got arrested for long enough they bribed guards, and they killed him. He's paralyzed from the waist down and has a feeding tube. My mother's looking at me, his eyes went to mine. We stand there, I look at my parents. Then I have nightmares. I was looking around me, we're silent. Though I worry as I've stood, I was panicking as I was thinking. We stand as I was looking at my parents, we're fighting again. I shouted at them. We're fighting about the horses.
