[SEQUEL TO: THE MISSING]
the two high school lovers who parted ways long ago never wanting to see each other again. but, suddenly a dilemma takes place, that has to bring the two back together...in an unusual way, with unusual events, in a variety...
"it's too late...you ruined everything." areum raises into the air. her dark eyes eyed me down sending chills down my spine.
"it's making me so happy seeing how everything is just crumbling for you, hyejin."
laughed areum.
"you'll lose everything."
"you won't win this fight hyejin. never."
Hyejins pov...
my eyes quickly open and i feel my tight chest fall lose finding myself safe in bed. the night mare i had played in my head over and over. i cuddle the blanket bringing it closer towards me.
am i going to lose everything? am i going to fuck things up like how i always do? i don't know what to expect, but i'm a nobody compared to areum. she has power...a very strong power.
she could kill me in an instant if she wanted to. i mean, she has in other universes.
and what makes this whole situation terrifying is that i'm "the only one" left.
if i mess up, this all lands on me.
i hear a soft knock on the door, "come in." i softly announce not taking my eyes off the wall. the door opens and i hear a familiar voice, "morning hyejin."
i slowly look away from the wall and look towards the door while still laying down. my eyes land on sunghoon. his puffy eyes and messy black hair catches my attention immediately.
"morning." i reply while slowly sitting up.
"no no, it's okay, lay back down if you have to." said sunghoon softly as he placed his hand on my shoulder. i slowly shake my head.
"no it's fine, i probably need to get up anyways." i say while rubbing my tired eyes.
sunghoon sat himself down at the edge of the bed. i slowly scoot away to make him more space.
