The tension had been building between Jules and Steff for weeks. It started with small disagreements, but soon escalated into full-blown arguments. Neither of them was willing to back down, and the rest of the group could feel the tension whenever they were in the same room. It all came to a head one afternoon when Jules and Steff were left alone to gather supplies. They had been working in silence, each lost in their own thoughts, when Steff accidentally knocked over a stack of crates. Jules, already on edge, exploded.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Can't you do anything right?" Jules yelled, his voice echoing through the empty room. Steff's face turned red with anger. "You're the one who's been acting like a jerk for weeks! I'm sick of your attitude." The two of them stood there, glaring at each other, neither willing to back down. Jules could feel his pulse racing as adrenaline coursed through his veins. He wanted to hit something, to take out his anger on something tangible. Suddenly, without warning, Jules lunged at Steff. They crashed into each other, grappling and throwing punches. The room echoed with the sound of their fists connecting, the air thick with the smell of sweat and anger. The other members of the group heard the commotion and rushed in to break up the fight. It took four of them to pull Jules and Steff apart, their bodies still twitching with the remnants of their anger. After that day, things were never quite the same between Jules and Steff. They avoided each other whenever possible, their once-strong friendship reduced to cold glares and icy silence. The rest of the group tried to mediate, but it seemed that the damage was irreparable. Jules couldn't help but think about how similar his behavior was to Nikki's when she had lashed out at Steff and Rae-Won after learning of Johnson's death. He knew that he needed to find a way to let go of his anger and move forward, but he didn't know how. It was a war that he was fighting within himself, and he wasn't sure if he was winning or losing.
