SOMIN'S POV
As I was staring at the embodiment of perfection, I was startled by hearing the director's voice again. He must've also been startled that he took his arms off me and I was almost falling...Again! There was a weird silence between us as she walked toward us. She looked at me and said, "Oh, did you meet Sanha? He is your new co-worker. He's gonna be working with us from now on. But he has no experience so I'd be glad if you helped him learn about the system. And I hope you two will get on well." She smiled and went to her room. But just after her, the perfect guy -now I learned his name- 'Sanha' rushed to her room and he looked furious. The curiosity was taking over me as he stayed there for a little too much. Anyway, so he would be my co-worker huh? I was excited. I mean I should be careful of my actions. He shouldn't understand I was thinking of him as the prince I was waiting for at first sight. Gosh, I am so stupid. "Pull yourself together Somin. He probably has a girlfriend. Just look at him. There must be countless people who want him. Lower your standards a little bit or go back to your books." My inner voice was right. Just go back to your job girl. At least, the love I was having with my books was reciprocal...
Just as I was going back to the shelves, the door was open and he approached me. I was wondering what they talked about so much. Then he stretched out his hand to me. "I am Sanha. Nice to meet you." He flashed a smile and I could swear my heart melted at it. I immediately held his hand. It was warm and soft and felt nice. "Somin, me too." I tried my best to hide my adoration for him. Yet I didn't want to leave his hand and at that time my phone started ringing. Great... "I am sorry but I gotta answer this call." I didn't wanna go but it was Daehwi, my best friend.
He was the best best best friend I could ever ask for. We met years ago at high school and since then, we've never left each other. I accept that he has some weird habits but it would be awkward if I had a normal bestie in my life. So it was only fair. I answered the call just to hear his screams. Yeah, that's what I meant by the weird habits. He always screams if he wants something from me. "Okay, stop screaming Dae Dae, and tell me what you want." I sighed. "Somin-aaah! You remember my group chat guys? We're meeting them today and I want you to come along. I really want you to meet them please please please pleaseeeeeeeee pleaseeeeeeeeeeee!" He had a group with three weird guys like him according to what he said and he was meeting them from time to time. But I didn't want to be involved in that group ewww. While he was continuing with 'pleases', I just sighed and said okay. "I will come along but I don't want another meeting alright? Only for once!" "Yeaahhh! Okay! You're the best! I'll come and get you then." "No, just send me the location. I can come on my own." I didn't want him to fetch me. I don't like that stuff at all. But he asks all the time. It just doesn't feel right, I dunno...
After I hung up, he sent the location. Oh, that cafe. I like that place. I bet it was Daehwi's idea. "I thought it was forbidden to chat during working hours. You were supposed to tell me about the work and yet you're here, chatting? Woah you're amazing!" I heard Sanha's voice that approached in a sarcastic way. "What? Hey, who do you think you are! I told you that I had to pick up this call. You just came here and talking to me like that. What impudence! Tsk tsk." Okay, he might be so perfect but no one can talk to me like that. Hmpft!
"I am- Look, I've been waiting for you for minutes. You didn't have to take the call for so long." I- why did he become nice suddenly? I thought he would defend himself at the same tempo. He was so sarcastic just now and look at him being the master of seriousness...Hmmmm..Suspicious..."Okay, sorry. Let's go. I'll teach you everything you need to know." It wasn't supposed to be like this but well...
SANHA'S POV
I got excited hearing that I'd be working with this girl but then I heard aunt's saying those words: From now on. And why didn't she tell her that I was her nephew? I didn't understand why she was like that so I went after her and shut the door. "Why didn't you tell her? And what does it mean 'from now on'?" I was furious! "Dear Sanha. If she learned that you were my nephew, she would be prejudiced toward you. I want you two to get on well okay? And I couldn't just say 'for a short time' because I didn't want to discourage her while teaching you the things. I hope you understand me, Dear Nephew." she said. "You must be treasuring her so much, don't you?" I couldn't understand why my aunt was like this toward her. "Yes, she is someone I treasure so much. I want my two treasures to get on well. That's all." She smiled. "Okay.." I sighed. Basically, my aunt wasn't the type of person that could behave people like this. Apparently, this girl must be really something.
