et's start with a nice back story (when I mean nice I mean a terrible back story)
Nightmare had caught the attention of elemental when that little incident happened nightmare was forced under control for generations making it so no one could free him like sabre did with rainbow.
Nightmare has a earing with a red jewel givin by the red steve. he doesn't wear it a lot just in case he loses it. But in the spirit world he never takes it off.
He has always been interested by insects like butterflies caterpillars, moths, ladybugs, dragon flys, centipedes, ect.
He has a huge fear of water because he got his foot stuck in coral and almost drowned.
Dark steve being his first son made him the most important thing in the world to nightmare even tho he didnt show it he always cared for dark.
When he found rainbow in the spirit world he did everything he could to help search for blue Steve trying to make up for what he did (even tho rainbow forgave him and understood what happened) sometimes passing out because he used to much energy to look around.
Sometimes Steve's can have a very rare genetic giving them animal ears and tails the most common one are devil/goat horn and a devil tail people like nightmare hypno and rainbow all have said genetic.
Nightmare is trans 😳😳😳😳 girl to boy. he got very uncomfortable being the only girl in the yellow kingdom so he decided to become a boy.
