Unlike other people say, I don't think Sabre has insomnia I decided to replace that with a light sleeper mostly because of all the attacks from other Steve's. He needed to make sure he could wake up for that stuff.
Sabres chicken onesie had real chicken feathers as a young child. He would collect feathers from farms to keep himself warm after his parents were murdered.

Sabre definitely adopted a bunch of the Steve's (rainbow, light, galaxy etc)
I remember one clip of steve saga where rainbow spoke Spanish and that gave me the idea of Sabre teaching Rainbow how to speak Spanish in case a evil steve who knew what they were saying was spying on them and they needed to make plans.
Time in minecraft is way different than in real life so sabre could go months without sleep (I'm not doing the math) and could sleep for months too.
