Chapter seven - The Accident

    Caroline was sitting down on the sofa in the study of the Mikaelson house when Klaus walked in "hello love I missed you this morning when I woke up" said Klaus in a calm voice as he went to sit down next to his beautiful wife Caroline "I am glad you have found me" said Caroline as Klaus leaned towards her to give her check a kiss when Hayley walked in.   "I am really sorry to bother you both but I had a bad dream last night where I died" said Hayley as she started to have tears in her eyes "I am so pleased it was just a dream I would hate to lose such a wonderful friend" said Caroline "I am pleased it was just a dream too little wolf" said Klaus as Rebekah walked in "Hayley you will be sleeping in my room from now on" said Rebekah as Hayley got up to give her a hug "thank you Rebekah I really appreciate it" said Hayley with a Smile.    Just then Elijah came into the room "Caroline you have a visitor waiting outside wanting to see you" said Elijah as Caroline, Klaus both walked outside together "Dad what are you doing here?" asked Caroline curiously "I was driving through town, saw your mum, she told me you got married to a very handsome englishman, so I came to say hello to your husband and congrats to you both" said Caroline's dad as Klaus stepped forward "I am Klaus Mikaelson Caroline's husband" said Klaus as he shook Caroline's dad's hand.   "My ex wife certainly got your description right, I must say it's nice to meet you" said Caroline's dad with a smile as he looked to the floor "so dad how long are you staying in town?" asked Caroline as she crossed her arms "well I have to be back home this evening so I suppose I will not be here long" said Caroline's dad as he turned and walked towards his car "Klaus can he please come inside just for 1 drink?" asked Caroline as she looked into Klaus's eyes "yes he can love" said Klaus as Caroline ran towards her dad "Klaus said you can come in for 1 drink" said Caroline as her dad followed her inside the Mikaelson mansion.

    "I will have a glass of whiskey, then I have to go home" said Caroline's dad "you can't drink, drive dad you will have an accident" said Caroline with a worried voice "my beautiful wife Caroline is right you will cause an accident on the road so how about I give you some coffee" said Klaus in a calm voice "I don't drink coffee" said Caroline's dad as he got up, drank half a bottle of whiskey "dad you won't be able to drive anywhere for around 2 hours" said Caroline as her dad left the house, got in his car and drove off down the road. "I am so sorry he drank half of your whiskey Klaus" said Caroline as she gave Klaus a hug "don't worry about it love their is loads of bottles of whiskey in the basement, besides my hybrids always bring new bottles of whiskey into the house and put them in the basement for me" said Klaus as he and caroline kissed.        2 hrs later Hayley turned on the tv, saw on the news that Caroline's dad had died in a car accident on the main road leaving Mystic Falls "Klaus can I borrow you for a moment?" asked Hayley as she walked into the study where he was painting "what's wrong little wolf" asked Klaus as he walked towards Hayley "Caroline's dad was found dead in a car accident on the main road going out of Mystic Falls an hour ago" said Hayley as she whispered in Klaus's ear so Caroline couldn't hear what she was saying to Klaus.   "Thank you Hayley please go, let Rebekah, Elijah know that I will sort this out" said Klaus as he went to sit down next to Caroline while Hayley despaired "did you want me to make you a cup of tea love?" asked Klaus as he kissed Caroline's eyes "no I don't I just want to sit, hug you" said Caroline as she smiled as Klaus put his arm around her "I hope you know I love you more everyday love" said Klaus as he, Caroline kissed.  

   "I do also hope you know I love you more everyday too, I am really happy being married to you" said Caroline as she looked into Klaus's eyes "I am really happy being married to you as well" said Klaus as he kissed Caroline's hand "I am hoping that my dad liked you, that he will come around for dinner 1 day" said Caroline as she leant on Klaus's shoulder "you know love about your dad I am sure he liked me as well as after all what's not to like" said Klaus "can you please invite him to stay for the night 1 day?" asked Caroline "I can't do that love but I will tell you what I can do I can get him a home in town" said Klaus.       2 hrs later Elijah, Hayley, Rebekah were burying Caroline's father in the garden while Klaus was still comforting Caroline inside "I hope my dad didn't have a accident on the way home" said Caroline as she looked at Klaus "please don't get upset love when I tell you this" said Klaus as Caroline started to look worried "your dad he did have an accident, sadly died but the good news is he is buried in our garden so you can see him everyday" said Klaus as Caroline gave Klaus a hug "thank you Klaus" said Caroline as she up off the sofa, took his hand, went outside "thank you for doing this for me" said Caroline as she hugged Rebekah, Hayley, Elijah and Klaus.. 

    The next day Caroline was outside alone looking down at her father's grave when Klaus was watching his beautiful wife Caroline from the window "Caroline looks so happy" said Elijah as Caroline looked towards the window and smiled at Klaus, then rang towards the window "you should come outside, join me 1 day" said Caroline as she grabbed Klaus's hand to step through the window, then gave him a kiss "I would like that love" said Klaus as he smiled and went to finish the painting he started doing yesterday.    "How about we sit outside later this afternoon, you can do some painting outside, I can sit there with you and enjoy some lovely fresh air" said Caroline as she sat down on a arm chair waiting for Klaus to respond "I love that idea you came up with love" said Klaus as he picked up his easel, took it outside, then came back in for his paints and then finally came back in for Caroline so he can take her back outside.
