Chapter Nine - The Break In

    2 days after the art festival had finished in Mystic Falls Caroline was on the stairs crying when Klaus walked up the stairs towards her "I don't want my mum to die" said Caroline in a upset voice "don't worry about your mum love she will be safe" said Klaus as he sat down next to Caroline on the stairs "I will try my best not too and I know deep down she will be safe" said Caroline as Klaus put his arm around her.   "Tyler please don't kill Caroline's mum" said hayley as she was talking on the phone to Tyler in the living room when Rebekah walked in "me, you are never going to happen again if you kill her mum" said Hayley as she hung up the phone "I was just talking to Tyler" said Hayley as she looked at Rebekah "I see you were trying to convince him not to kill Caroline's mum?" asked Rebekah curiously as she had her arms folded "yes I was" said Hayley as she walked out the house and slammed the front door behind her.   "What's going on Rebekah?" asked Elijah as he quickly walked into the living room after hearing the front door slam "nothing is going on it's just I walked in on Hayley when she was on the phone that's all" said Rebekah as she sat down in the living room "are you sure there's nothing going on sister?" asked Klaus as he walked down the stairs and into the living room followed by Caroline "Hayley was talking to Tyler on the phone when I walked in the room" said Rebekah as she got up from the armchair.

   When Hayley left the Mikaelson house she went to Tyler's house "Tyler like I said on the phone before we are done forever if you kill Caroline's mum as you know everyone will kill you" said Hayley as she kissed Tyler 1 last time then started to leave but couldn't as Tyler grabbed her arm "I won't kill Caroline's mum under 1 condition" said Tyler "what do you want Tyler?" asked Hayley as she pulled away her arm from his grip and turned around to face him.    "What I want is for you to leave Mystic Falls with me" said Tyley as Hayley looked to the floor "if I go with you will you leave Klaus and his family and Caroline and her mum alone forever?" asked Hayley curiously "yes I will" said Tyler as he and Hayley walked into the living room "I will go home to pack my bags" said Hayley as she hugged Tyler "don't tell anyone where your going or about what your doing" said Tyler as Hayley left his house.    1 hr later Hayley arrived back at the Mikaelson house as she walked inside, run up stairs to her room "Hayley I am really sorry if I upset you" said Rebekah as she walked inside Hayleys room to see Hayley packing up her things "don't worry you haven't upset me" said Hayley "then why are you packing up your things?" asked Rebekah curiously "I found my own place in a new town, I am moving there today" said Hayley as she finished packing up things "I will always ring you Rebekah" said Hayley as she went downstairs quickly and left the house with all her things.       

   "Hayley just left the house with all her things" said Rebekah as she walked downstairs into the study "I hope you are only joking sister" said Klaus as he was sitting down on the sofa drinking a glass of whiskey "what do you mean she left with all her things?" asked Caroline who was also sitting on the sofa next to Klaus while reading a book "I mean she just left" said Rebekah who had her arms folded standing by the window "she can't have just left Rebekah and after all if she did leave why did she not say goodbye?" asked Elijah "she did tell me" said Rebekah as she continued to look out of the window "you shouldn't have let her go sister!" shouted Klaus as Rebekah started to cry "I know for next time not to let her go" said Rebekah as she left the room quickly.    2 hrs later Klaus was painting a picture when suddenly he heard a window smash to pieces in the kitchen, so he vampire speeded into the room to find 1 of the paintings he had painted an hour ago what he put on the kitchen table to dry had been stolen "Caroline, Rebekah, Elijah someone broke in the house and stole 1 of my paintings" said Klaus in a not so nice british accent voice.    1 minute later they appeared in the kitchen, noticed broken glass from the kitchen window on the floor "I will call my mum" said Caroline as she got out her phone "hi mum there's been a break in at the Mikaelson home" said Caroline "I will be right their" said Caroline's mum as Caroline hung up the phone "my mum is on her way" said Caroline as she couldn't take her eyes of the broken glass on the floor from the kitchen window "whoever broke in to our home will have to pay" said Klaus as he looked at Caroline "I hope they do pay" said Caroline as she and klaus kissed.

     2 minutes later Caroline's mum arrived at the house "thank you Caroline for calling me" said Caroline's mum "that's no problem at all" said Caroline "how long will this take to find out who broke into my house?" asked Klaus curiously "not long" said Caroline's mum as she began to work "what about my painting what got stolen?" asked Klaus curiously "don't worry I will make sure you will get it back" said Carolines mum as she looked at Caroline and Klaus and saw how happy they are together.     1 hr later Caroline's mum's team left the house with all the evidence they needed "I will ask my hybrids to get a new window for the kitchen" said Klaus as he got his phone out of his leather jacket pocket to text his hybrids "my hybrids are going to get us a new kitchen window" said Klaus as he turned around to face Caroline "well that's very nice of them" said Caroline as her and Klaus started to make out "I am so happy you both married each other as you both are such an adorable couple" said Rebekah as she walked into the kitchen.     "I love Caroline more and more everyday sister" said Klaus as he, Caroline finished making out "I love Klaus more and more everyday Rebekah" said Caroline as she kissed Klaus again "I think the person who broke into our house might be the gentlemen who you both talked too at the art festival" said Elijah as he walked in the kitchen with the newspaper under his arm "why do you think that brother?" asked Klaus curiously as he looked at Elijah "look here on the front page of the newspaper it says he broke into a house in Mystic Falls and stole a painting" said Elijah as he showed Klaus the paper.    "He stole my painting, broke the kitchen window!" shouted Klaus as he looked at Caroline with tears in his eyes "I will go, call my mum, tell her we know who did it" said Caroline as walked out of the kitchen, to the bottom of the steps so she could call her mum on her phone "well now we all know who did thanks to Elijah and his newspaper" said Rebekah as Caroline walked back in the kitchen "my mum told me to thank you for her Elijah" said Caroline as she gave Klaus a hug as he was still crying.
