"So, you managed to finally not fuck up." Silver says in a cold voice. Almost apathetic sounding but the way he's staring into my soul with that evil grin says otherwise.

"Frank, you're surprisingly hard to find." Silver continues and I stare at him. What do you even say in this situation??? I know? I wasn't trying to let you find me? My bad? WHAT DO SAY?

"From what I've heard, you tend to have a mouth on you. Whats wrong? Cat got your tounge?" He asks, standing up and walking around towards me. I'm pushed forward by Chevy and I stumble before straightening myself. If I don't pull myself together I will regret it very shortly. Just dont piss him off, Frank.

"No, I just was surprised you're so short" I say evenly. WHAT THE FUCK WHY DID I SAY THAT WHY WHY WHY

I can already hear the sound of my head rolling on the ground as my breath hitches but instead of lashing out, silver tilts his head to the side, his face a blank slate. I hear a sound akin to metal windchimes and glance to his left hand which has ice forming over it. Welp, I'm dead.

Instead he lifts his hand to the side of my face almost gently and it's so cold I want to cry. I swear I feel frost forming over my cheek. My wet hair is not helping and I'm forced to increase my body temperature just to stand it. He pulls away and looks at his own hand in bewilderment. The ice is gone and his grey skin almost looks healthy.

"Nice job boys. You can go." He says to my incompetent kidnappers.

"Bloop." Says the Damien monster and they leave. I stare at Silver while he calmly puts gloves on.

"Do you know what happens to most people when I touch them?" He finally asks, looking at his fish tank. I shake my head.

"At best they lose the function of a limb for a while. At worst, they shatter." He says and I gulp.

"Now my good friend, Stanley, hes a steam elemental. He can usually handle a few seconds. I had a girl who was a fire elemental for a while but she ran out of energy three months ago and shattered too." He then turns towards me and I think I'm going to wet myself when I see his face.

"You may have noticed that I have a hard time keeping warm. So you're going to be my heater." Silver smiles and I actually breathe in relief. That is not as bad as I have seen in the past. When I was in the business, I've seen oil elementals drained of their blood, golden hair ripped out and sold, crystal limbs cut off, salt elementals desolved, and everything in-between. Being a living heater means I'll probably not be in any danger at any time. Not really. If anything, he'll be protecting me. Right?

Then I feel a sharp cut on my shoulder and I see that a spike of ice has been shot from his hand and had grazed me just enough to draw a bit of blood but also cutting the ropes at my side. I quickly pull away and start trying to work my hands out of their ties. His icy hands are soon around my neck. The gloves help but holy shit it hurts.

"And Frank? Don't insult me again." Silver whispers. I nod. I am absolutely in danger here.
