Training is not an expense, but an investment in Human capability

始まり

As the sun rises in the sky, a new day begins.

Lucian woke up with a start. His heart pounded in his chest, remnants of a nightmare still clinging to his mind. He had been plagued by these nightmares for weeks, vivid and terrifying visions that left him drenched in sweat and unable to sleep soundly.

Roosters crow at the dawn, unable to resist the impulse of their biological clock.
Serfs awaken to plow the land with their wooden tools, praying for a good harvest to avoid starvation. Servants rush about in their masters' mansions, ironing clothes and putting food onto plates.

This early in the morning, most people of his status and his age(Young noblemen and noblewomen)are still asleep.Enjoying their peaceful slumber in the comfort of their beds.

Where is Lucian at this time, however?

he is on his way to the training ground rubbing his eyes to force them open and awake,a shout interrupts him determined, albeit not fully out of slumber

The training grounds were a large, open space, reminiscent of ancient arenas where warriors honed their skills. It was filled with various training props, dummies, and weapons, all meticulously maintained. The centerpiece was a towering stone statue of a legendary martial artist, watching over the grounds with an eternal gaze of vigilance.

"You are not the first one here!"
His instructor already basks in the warm rays of the morning light.

She is a tall, slender woman with long, flowing hair that cascades down her back. Despite her graceful and elegant appearance, from Lucian's personal experience she can sting far stronger than a bee and float far faster than a butterfly.

"You are early, kid."

Then she gazes up, judging the position of the dawning sun in the sky.

"At least two hours before we start our session."

"Couldn't sleep," Lucian replies.

"Got a restless mind, eh?Probably because the Seishin Kage are coming today."

Lucian nodded.

The presence of the Seishin Kage was intimidating, but it wasn't the only thing weighing on his mind.

"Let's not waste time," Master Kael said, clapping her hands. "Your father wants me to record your progress for the Kage. We'll start with the usual warm-ups."

They began with a series of stretching exercises to loosen their muscles, followed by light jogging around the grounds.

The warm-ups were designed to get the blood flowing and prepare the body for the intense training ahead. Lucian felt the familiar burn in his muscles, a reassuring sensation that grounded him in the present moment.

"Let's start with your strength," she announces.

"Normally, we would fight the Iron Warden together, but today, you will face it alone. Your father wants to test if you are ready for the awakening."

Lucian's eyes widen, but he nods, understanding the gravity of the challenge. The Iron Warden, a formidable training prop that only the best martial artists could handle, stands ready.

"I will take my leave, good luck Lucian. Do not disappoint me"

Lucian nods

One hour later

His heart pounded as he got ready to face the training prop, a mechanical marvel known as "The Iron Warden."

Its eyes glowed with an eerie blue light.
