Alone For Once

Waking up late after coming back to the hotel early in the morning from the afterparty was a nice feeling. Clem was lucky that her plane to go back home to France was in the middle of the afternoon so she could sleep in. 

The afterparty has been great, but it was still filled with the disappointing feeling that the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was already over. The redhead has spent the entire night with her friends, dancing, singing and drinking. 

She couldn't help but remember the little staring game between her and Bojan during the entire party, the little smirks they would send each other every time they spotted the other staring at them. They thought they were being discreet, but they most definitely weren't, especially when Alessandra and Alika made a comment to the French girl.

"You two had almost 3 weeks and you only are acting like that on the last night..." the Norwegian said, an ounce of disappointment in her tone. She earned a confused look from her friend. "Oh please Clem, everybody saw your connection"

"This man definitely has the hots for you, it's so obvious !" added Alika. "And you do too ! But I think you still are in the denial phase" 

"He does not ! And I don't !"  the French girls voice was higher than usual. The two other girls spotted the change in her voice and smiled at each other. 

"You are so oblivious it's unbelievable" Alessandra said while both her and the Estionian shook their heads. 

She had also met Martin, the former bassist of Joker Out who came to Liverpool to support his friends. 

"It's good to finally meet you, Bojan never stops talking about you" he had told her with a smirk. "You should give him a chance" he added in her ear before walking away to have fun with his friends. 

Sure, Bojan and Clem hit it off almost instantly, but it was only a friendship... right ? She couldn't help but also remember Jere's comment after his fake proposal to the Slovenian singer. Was she really that oblivious ? 

No. It was impossible. Sure they were some looks, some smiles and some little gestures but it wasn't flirting. Or so she didn't believe it. Bojan was just a nice friend.

Thanks to the time spent with Joker Out, Clem has started to know them pretty well. So when she woke up to a text from Kris telling her that Bojan lost his phone, she wasn't even surprised. 

Thankfully, The Warning's plane was much later than the Slovenian's so when a crew member of the Eurovision team came up to her with Bojan's phone after they had already left for Ljubljana and were most definitely on the plane, she simply sighed. 

The toilets. Bojan left his phone in the toilets.
