moving on

It didn't take long for Clem to start working on an album. Actually, she already started during her EP, since she had recorded some songs that she didn't include in her first project and decided to keep them for a bigger thing.

Exactly like in her EP, Clem decided to have some sort of two different parts. The first one, quickly named 'Healing' would be about growing up and moving on from the past. Leaving the band hasn't been the end of everything, she just needed to heal from all she had experienced and had to keep up with.

In the end, she came up with five songs - including two in French - and an interlude for this part. Her favourite song in this part was a French song called 'Libre'. She had the gut feeling it would be the song that would hurt her sisters the most, even when 'More like you' was explicitly about them. Libre was about how much she had changed since she gained her freedom.

The interlude 'I'm not angry anymore' was the perfect transition to the second part of the album: 'Feeling'. She didn't believe she had ever hated her sisters. But sometimes, depending on the day, she couldn't help to be angry and bitter at the way they had treated her. She still hadn't completely moved on and that little song expressed it perfectly.

Moving to Ljubljana had brought her something she wasn't expecting to find, especially not in a friend. She was in love for the first time in her life. Bojan wasn't her first boyfriend, but this relationship made her understand what love really meant. She felt stupid that she even thought she had felt love before when she realised what it really was.

'Feeling' included 6 love songs with the first one in her mother tongue. French was said to be the language of love like Bojan had told her, she had replied that it was funny that it took a Slovenian to teach her that.

This time, Clem refused to do a listening party with everyone and simply sent them her album so they would listen to it alone. Yet, they decided to make their own listening party without the girl. 

The guys didn't send her any texts regarding what they listened to, but Lili did and the French girl broke down laughing with what she told her. Between the messages commenting on the songs and the quick pictures sent of the guys being so concentrated, there was never a dull moment over text with the Belgian girl.
