Please read this I am so serious please read this my life depends on it

Ok ok ok, you can all hit me however much you want, but in my defense, something major came up, like really really major came up, (Enter family emergency here then times that by 6 eight times), and on top of that (Be prepared I'm ready to rant) My LA teacher decides- Oh I should mess with my students and make them right a story on how their character lives their normal life, has friends, gets transported to another world, have to go through three separate trials that deepen the plot, have to figure out what the big goal is, defeat the crisis, get the treasure, return to their world, and show how they developed over that course of period in time, get this, get this, she wants it all in 24 pages. And you wanna know what else? She assigned it on Tuesday and wants it done by Friday of the upcoming week. Now get this, the students in my grade are going on a trip to Washington D.C for three days Monday through Wednesday, coming back Wednesday night, with no access to computers and are only allowed to use their phones for videos and pictures. HOW THE HELL IS THAT GONNA WORK OUT HMMMMMMM?!!!?? ID SURELY LIKE TO FCKING KNOW? AND FOR SOME PEOPLE 24 PAGES IS A LOT TO RIGHT BUT NOT WHEN YOURE BASICALLY ASSIGNED TO RIGHT A FREAKING HARRY POTTER OR PERCY JACKSON NOVEL LIKE WHAT THE HELL NO SANE PERSON CAN GET THAT DONE IN A WEEK. Soooooo, I'm gonna post what I have so far in this update and please tell me what you think.

(Btw the main character's name is Tyler and is a girl)

I was visiting the library with Alice, grabbing the book, The Grimm Legacy, by Polly Shulman from off the highest shelf in the fiction bookcase. Alice was a slim girl, around 5'6'', with fiery red curls that demanded attention. She had chocolate brown eyes that sported gold flecks in them when in the light. Her attire consisted of a white tank top with a red and black checkered flannel top wrapped around her waist, dark skinny jeans with studs splattered around the pockets, and black combat boots with studs at the nose of them. Overall she looked pretty epic.

Now imagine all this epicness standing next to me. I know I'm not ugly, with my height of 4'7'', long ebony hair that reached my lower back, and cool gray eyes, but I did seem rather... dull. Though, I guess my black and white Aztec knit sweater, black bowler hat, high waisted, bleached, ripped jeans, and my velvet material sneaker boots did brighten up my image. Even still, with our clashing personalities, we've managed to stick through it this far, and this year, we'll be graduating with each other.

Turning the book towards its back, I start rereading the summary that had completely seized my brain with curiosity and a desire foradventure.

This had to be my eighth time rereading this book. It just drew me in with its magic and Elizabeth's character blended nicely with that of Aaron's. To be able to use the magical and mythical items from famous Fairy Tales from all over the world, from culture to culture, at beck and call is something a person could only dream of, though it came with a price.

Alice peeked over my shoulder to see what I had chosen, then rolled her eyes when she saw the familiar book in my hand.

"Why am I not surprised? Tyler! How many times are you going to read that God forsaken book? You must have already memorized the whole thing!" She shouted, her voice rang out like a tocsin (toxic clamor). Rubbing my ear, I sigh.

"But you know how much I love the series! Plus, I'm waiting for the library to finally get the second issue," I groaned out to her as a response.

'Tsk'ing, she walked ahead of me towards the coffee shop around the corner. It was a hidden place between two buildings and it didn't get that many customers, which was great! It wasn't too crowded yet it had a homey feeling to it. The coffee shop was called "Good Morning" and they had to had had the best mocha lattes in existence! When we walked through the entrance, the little gold bell above the door jingled lightly. I giggled and walked up to the counter.
