IT WAS STRANGE TO see such blue skies fill your eyesight. When you're so use to seeing nothing but smoke and fog you forget how blue the sky can actually be.

White clouds littered the sky, the wind blowing through her hair as her brown eyes dropped from the blue sky to the wistful trees blowing in the wind. Bits of long grass danced around along with some flowers that blew along with it.

Her dainty fingers felt the lush green grass, although parts of it were dry it was still rather nice to even feel. She stood up so her bare feet sat comfortably on top of the Mother Earth, her dress swishing at her feet and her skin kissed the sun.

A man sitting on a blanket, throwing grapes in his mouth watched the woman he's falling for bask in the essence of nature around them. If he'd known this was how she'd react, really emerging herself in nature, become one with the sun, the earth, the wind, the grass, he would've taken her here a lot sooner.

His ice blue eyes trailed down her soft olive arm, her bare skin showing, warming under the sun. She spun around in a circle, her neck hanging back as if she was trying to hug the rays of the sun.

No one would believe him if he tried to describe such a scene. She was a goddess. The God's sculptured Malaeya by hand, giving her Aphrodite's love and beauty and Athena's confidence and strength.

The God's were also kind enough to place Malaeya into his life at a time where he needed someone like her without him realising. The God's did him a favour, one he could never repay.

After all his efforts and commendable sacrifices fate brought him a woman he could fall in love with and start a family with. Live a happy life with. Flourish his business with. The very person he needed, to be fiercely loyal and stand beside him. To aide him, make sure he seen the in's and the out's, the good and the bad, to learn off his mistakes and make better decisions.

Thomas Shelby was irrevocably and so utterly in love with Malaeya Mikaelson.

The said man shook himself out of his thoughts as Malaeya walked back to the blanket, a wide smile on her face. She sat down on her knees, reverting herself onto her bum and leaned on the palm of her hand.

"Thank you for taking me out here Tommy," she said to him as she grabbed a strawberry from the basket and bit into it. She looked around her scenery, which was nothing but a field with trees but she loved it regardless. "It's been a while since I've seen nature. Small Heath isn't exactly filled with grass and flowers."

Tommy nodded his head in agreement and they then settled into a comfortable silence. Malaeya stared out in the open as she thought about fond memories with her family in fields like this whilst Thomas continued to stare at Malaeya, his thoughts going back to thinking how lucky he was to have a girl like her in his life.

The Original felt her cheeks heat up at the fact she knew he was staring at her. Her brown eyes found his blues, a closed lipped smile on her face, her dimples appearing.

"Can I help you Mr Shelby?"

"You're so beautiful, you know that?" He said to her, his elbow supporting him as he laid on his side.

Malaeya placed her hands on her cheeks. "Who knew a heartless gangster like you would have a soft heart?"

"As my brothers would say, you're making me soft Milly." Tommy chuckled, the thought of his brothers clouding his mind.

If only time were still as kind as they use to be.

Malaeya grabbed Tommy's hand, causing him to look down and see her small hand grasp his. Her fingers entwine with his own, squeezing one another tightly. "You wanna know how you make me feel?" She whispered to him, drawing her knees closer to the man that made her feel giddy and happy.
