Whilst trying to figure out whether I was absolutely bonkers, I still had a sense of relief knowing that Angela hadn't actually sabotaged my art project and I had at least a few hours left of the day to finish it before I had to turn it in.
I was hopeful that there wasn't going to be any distractions for me that will disturb me from drawing my art project, but only I could fool myself.
The only distraction that was left was myself.
I'm certainly not going mad- I tried to convince myself. Maybe I was too stressed after realising that I was the only one to blame for the fact I left my art project last minute, and my own mind was trying to find ways to punish me and make me think that the sequence of events that have recently occurred was my first gate way to hell but of course I was just being dramatic.
Although despite all my worries, I had pleasure in enjoying relaying back of what happened in the cafeteria in my head, seeing Angela get a taste of her own medicine after many years. Kind of sucked knowing that she would never have her suspicions that I might have potentially been responsible for it, and she would just blame her friend Monica.
I wondered if these could have all linked to my twenty second birthday and if my mom was actually trying to hint something to me without giving too much away.
I shivered at that thought in a little fear knowing that there could be another dimension to this world somewhere that had different abilities and creatures.
Yeah. I'm totally bonkers.
When I was looking back at the water bottle exploding, I noticed the water inside it vibrated and had a subtle ripple effect first. Monica definitely wasn't gripping that bottle tightly because the lid was off loosely as she was mid drinking it. It almost felt like it was ruptured in her hands by force.
My eyes lit up as soon as I had another idea, I went to the cupboards near the sink in the art area and grabbed an empty plastic water bottle and filled it up with water, screwed the bottle on tightly and went back to my table and put it down.
Out of curiosity, I sat down and stared at it, hoping it would do something.
Nothing.
I knew I felt angry with Angela in order to make that water bottle to explode. I bit my lip and thought for a few minutes, tapping my fingers against the table, watching the water in the bottle sway side to side as I did.
I narrowed my eyes as I focused my mind on the water bottle in front of me. I felt a sudden surge of energy rush through me as soon as I concentrated, I saw little movement to begin with then I realised it started to shake gently. I gritted my teeth, containing my excitement and I pushed harder. The water bottle exploded with a loud bang, sending the water flying in all different directions.
I stumbled back, panting and sweating as I realised what just happened.
I suddenly felt the room spin and zoom towards me. I tried to hold myself onto the table top and I must have slipped on the water surrounding me. I felt my whole body flew from the ground and I landed on my back following a loud thud on the tile floor and whacking my head.
Ah crap... I tried to say to myself. Whilst my visions are still blurry I noticed that I see Dylan's face hovering over me, waving his hands frantically as I slowly shut my eyes.
Not to be dramatic, but he really wasn't the last person I wanted to see before I fell to my death. At least I had an an excuse to get out of my art project now? Even though I made myself passed out, I felt like I could still hear everything in slow motion but everything was only black for a minute.
