I awoke. And found myself at home, in my bed. I got up, walked downstairs, sat at the breakfast table, took a deep breath and said: "So what's for breakfast, Mum?"

"What can I have for breakfast?" asked my little sister, instantly after i stopped speaking.

"Cornflakes, toast, and... that's it" My mum replied.

"I'll have toast-"

"I'll have cornflakes, please!" My sister rudley interupted.

My mum made my sister a bowl of cornflakes and placed infront of her on the table.

"Can I have some toast please mum?" I asked. Mum didn't answer. "Mum? Ok, can i have cornflakes?". There was still no reply. "I guess i'll go without breakfast then".

I got up and headed out to the park. When I got there, I saw I best mate, Gary.

"Hey Gary! How you been lately?" I asked him. He didn't answer. Then our other friends came. Wilson and Jonny. "Hi guys" I said, excited to see them. They didn't answer either. Infact, I was ignored by everyone that day, and no one acknowledged that I was around. I picked up some paper and a pen from Gary's bag that was on the floor. He didn't notice.

I wrote:

Missing Boy. Artie Williams. If seen please call 0132 544 6597. Thanks!

I threw the paper up in the air and the boys noticed it. Gary caught it and read it.

"Who's Artie Williams?" asked Gary.

"I don't know. No one at school" replied Jonny.

"No one at school?! I've been in your class since nursery, that was 9 years ago! We've literally grown up together!" I yelled.

No one heard me, AGAIN!

I walked home. Sat in the living room and watched tele. Still no one noticed me. I starved. I went to bed at around 10 that night. I went straight to sleep.

When I woke up, I found myself lying on the sofa I fell asleep on, in the pub. I sat up. Looked around, and saw that there were people sat around every table. But no one spoke. I sat at the bar, where I had sat the first time. The bar tender was back, and so was the man who didn't speak.

"Hi!" I said to the bar tender. He looked at me, but didn't answer. Then he went back to his cleaning. I sat in the awkward silence for a while. Then a large man burst through the door. It was the man who was in here talking to me the second time I was in here. He clicked his fingers. Everyone disappeared. Except the bar tender. The man walked upto the bar and sat where the other man, the one who didn't speak, had been.

"Hi!" I said to the man. He looked at me; then looked away.

"So you ready?" The man asked. I nodded. The man turned and looked at the bar tender. The bar tender was no longer wearing an apron, or cleaning his glass. He was stood there staring at the man. He began to shake. Harder and harder, faster and faster, he kept shaking. Then he stopped. The he vanished in a flash. I turned and looked at the man.

"What just happened?" I asked. Then the bar tender reappeared. But this time he was faded, like a ghost almost. His face was deadly pale, his lips and eyes were piercing black and his hair, greasy and flakey. His eyes were wide. He strared straight at me. He got closer. He walked through the bar, like a ghost, I backed away. He kept following me. I stopped when I reached the door. It was locked. He stood about 20 centimetres away. And stared into my eyes. Then he screached and shot up through the roof without leaving a hole or anything. I looked back at the man. Who was just sat there, casually, as if nothing had happened.

"We going then?" He asked. Again I nodded. He pushed the door open, it wasn't locked. We walked out side.
