Chapter 13

THE NEXT DAY

I wake up being shaken. I open my eyes and see Luke standing over me. He gasps and takes a step back, I sit up and ask, "What's wrong?"

"Your eyes."

"Sorry." I close my eyes and try to calm myself down. I reopen my eyes, "Better?" I ask and Luke shakes his head, "No."

"Well they won't change any time soon then. What's up?"

"My parents are up and talking in my dad's office and I wanna go talk to them but I want you there."

"All right. Let's go." I say as I get out of bed.

"Are you gonna get dressed?"

"Nope after this I'm dropping you off at Drake's and coming back here to sleep."

"All right."

We walk down to Jasper's office and Luke knocks on the door.

LUKE'S POV

I hear my dad say 'come in' and we walk in to see my dad sitting at his desk with mum standing beside him.

"Morning son, Chloe." Dad greets us.

"Morning." I mumble. I'm a nervous wreck.

"Good morning Jasper. Now we have some stuff we need to sort out, so let's get down to business."

"Straight to the point I see. Are you sure your ok to be here with your eyes like that?"

"I'm fine Jasper."

"All right." He replies then turns to look at me, "Now son your mother and I have talked about this and have decided that if you want to be with Drake then we don't have a problem with that and won't try to keep you apart."

I breathed out a sigh of relief, "Thank you both so much. But who's gonna lead what?"

"I'm sorry what?" My dad asks confused.

Before I can answer Chloe does so for me, "Jasper what he means is, he is the heir to the Vampire thrown and Drake is about to become Alpha of his pack."

"Oh right. I hadn't thought about that." He answered.

"Well I have. Luke can go and lead the pack with Drake and Zen and Kim can take over the thrown." Chloe answers smirking, obviously pleased with herself.

"Sounds great Chloe, you really are full of great ideas. How about you son, you agree with what Chloe has suggested?"

"Yes very much. Thank you Chloe."

"Your welcome. Now Jasper am I allowed to take Luke to meet up with Drake now or do you still want to talk about this?"

"No that's fine, you can take Luke to meet Drake but I would like to speak to you later."

"All right but can I have a sleep before we do that, I'm still super tired."

"Of course dear. We will make arrangements for you to move in with Drake later ok Luke."

"Ok."

"Great, you both may go now."

We nod and leave the room. Once we walk through the door we are suddenly in Drake's back yard.
