Chapter 15

ONE MONTH LATER (CHLOE'S POV)

Last day of school ever. Today is graduation day and I'm super excited, everyone is. Ricco and I have worked pretty hard to get back up to speed after missing those couple years of school. We had to have extra work, extra tests and extra class time but we passed everything so we get to graduate with the rest of our year.

After the graduation we are having a huge sleepover with Ricco and his gang as well as me, Rose and Ashley. It should be really fun.

As the ceremony ends we all throw up our graduation caps.

Everyone starts clapping and crying while others are hugging each other.

My parents come over and give me and Ricco huge hugs and congratulate us.

We walk to the car and drive home to start setting up for the sleepover.

After about a hour everything is set up and I fall back on the couch ready to fall asleep. I hear someone walk into the room and over to me, they chuckle then pick me up and carry me somewhere but I'm too tired to look or care. I feel myself being placed on a bed and kissed on the forehead. I hear them walk away and shut the door so I let sleep take over.

RICCO'S POV

After I left Chloe's room I walked downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Where's Chloe?" My dad asks.

"Asleep. I just took her up to her room."

"Oh poor baby. She has been quite tired lately."

"Yea that's why I thought I'd let her sleep for a little bit instead of making her stay awake."

"Good idea, your friends won't be here for about a hour anyway."

"Yea."

"Ricco I know this is a weird question but do you wish that I never brought Chloe here?"

"NO! I mean to start with I was jealous that you and mum were focusing most of your attention on her but as I thought about it I realised that we were all focusing most of our attention on her. She special and a great person, I couldn't have asked for a better sister nor bring myself to think of life without her."

"Well that's ok then. It's just something that I had been thinking about lately."

"Why?"

"I don't know, I think it's cause you and her are growing up and are going to move out soon and I won't have any kids to focus on any more."

"That's ok dad I don't think Chloe is planning on moving any time soon."

He laughed at that, "Suppose not."

"She's loves you too much to leave."

"What about your mum?"

"She loves mum but you can tell she's a daddy's girl."

"I love that she calls me dad. Makes me feel like I've achieved something to be called dad by such a special, beautiful person."

"I love that she considers me her brother, her twin even."
