A Little Bit of CHAOS Doesn't Hurt!~ (Ninjago x Reader)

Prologue

'Dear Diary, Hello! My name is Y/n L/n, I'm 12 at the moment but soon I'll be turning 13! I live in an apartment complex with my dad in Ninjago city, and I attend a nearby Middle school.

My whole entire life has been quite chaotic to say for the least... My mother was a drug addict... and she didn't really take care of me.Though, she still wanted custody of me instead of letting my father be my guardian.Although my father hated how my mother was and how she treated me, he stayed married to her for my sake.

My mother would waste all of our money on drugs and alcohol and it got to the point where we couldn't pay our bills. And then... My father made the worst decision of his life. He robbed a store of its money in order for us to pay our bills, because his job wasn't paying him enough. He was caught by the police, and after more investigation, the police discovered my mother's drug abuse and had her placed in prison and later in a mental facility.

As for me, I was sent to live with my grandparents for 2 years. My grandparents weren't exactly thrilled to have me staying with them, but they let me live with them due to how young I was at the time.

Eventually, my father was released from prison and gained custody of me again, and he got a stable job in Ninjago city! But, of course, not everything was perfect, because apparently the Serpentine, who were these snake people who existed ever since the beginning of our world, were released from their underground prisons and the city was constantly invaded by them! And apparently all the tribes of the Serpentine united and found these things called 'The Fang Blades' and used them to release the beast known as the great devourer.

I will never forget that day... It was really traumatic, everything was being eaten by this gigantic serpent and people were screaming and children were crying. Me and my father were able to get to safety, but god it was terrifying.

Eventually our city's so-called heroes, the ninja and Samurai X, came in and saved the day and destroyed the beast. Rumor has it, one of them is the reason all the Serpentine were released back into the world.

And then there was the so called 'Final Battle' between The Golden ninja and the overlord- or Lloyd Garmadon against Lord Garmadon, or- UGH! Why are there so many other names to call them by?!

Anyway, you get my point, and on that day a stone army attacked the city and filled it with darkness, and perched on top of a skyscraper, stood the Overlord. Then the Golden ninja came over and beat his bitch-ass up blah-blah-blah; I think you understand what happened.

This again, was another traumatic event in my life. But oh, you'd think evil would rest after that??? Nope!

Technology had improved a lot since the final battle and the city looked like it came right out of a movie! However the person who invented all this amazing tech, Cyrus Borg, built his tower where the final battle was held, and it just so happened that the Overlord's spirit ceased to exist and he took control of all the technology in Ninjago city.

And again, the ninja had to save the day and defeat him, though, it came with a sacrifice. Zane, the ice ninja, sacrificed himself to save the city. The city held a ceremony and built a statue in memory of him.

But he came back because he's apparently a robot?? And apparently Garmadon (who is good now apparently) DIES?! So yeah I guess all that was for nothing... Ya know, as I'm recapping all the bullshit that has happened in my life, the more I realize how problematic the ninja truly are.

Anyway, much later, Lord Garmadon is resurrected from the dead but only his bad side comes back??? And it turns out the person who brought him back was none other than the Jade princess, Harumi. And,of course, Lord Garmadon took control over the city and I had to live in hiding and in constant fear again!

And of course, as per usual the ninja saved the day! Halle-fucking-lujah! Garmadon was thrown into a maximum security prison and dumb bitch Harumi got her dumb ass crushed by a building!

And you'd finally think all the torture would've ended by now, but nope! What's life without destruction and living in fear for your life???

So apparently these creatures known as the Oni were released through this thing called the realm crystal and came to destroy and conquer Ninjago! And they were turning people into stone??? I.. I was one of these people. I was walking home from school one day and then I heard lots of screams and saw a huge purple cloud engulfing the whole city. I started to run but then I was forcefully stopped. I looked down at my leg, it was turning gray, and soon, my whole body was gray and I was frozen, stuck in place.

I thought that was the real official end to my life, but of course, the ninja found a way to save all of us! How you may ask? By releasing the guy they just threw in jail! Apparently Garmadon knew some way of how to get rid of the Oni, in which said way didn't work at all! So the actual way they defeated the Oni was by attacking them with the opposite of the Oni's power, Creation. They made a tornado of creation with their spinjitzu.

And since then, Garmadon hasn't been seen, and so have the ninja.

The city nowadays has been peaceful, and there hasn't been an attack in months! My father and I are glad because most of the time we spent in hiding, we didn't really bond, but now that things are better we can spend time together as father and daughter!

Anyway, this is the end of my first entry in this diary, I'll definitely be writing more in the future!'

"Y/n! Pumpkin! Dinner's ready!" Called Y/n's father from the kitchen.

Y/n closed her diary and locked it and headed down to go eat.

A/N:

Yooooooo This is such an improvement from the old prologue!

Anyway, quick note, you might be wondering why I didn't mention seasons 4, 5, 6 or 7 in Y/n's diary entry. Well, that's because seasons 4 and 5 kinda take place out of Ninjago city, so Y/n wouldn't have really witnessed the events of those seasons.

As for seasons 6 and 7, in 6 the sorta just reverse it all??? And 7 is just downright confusing ;-;

Anyway, I'm almost on summer vacation meaning I will have more time to write soon! So stay tuned for that!
