Mountain Outside Capital

"I didn't ask for you to accompany me. You should not be leaving your post", Raziela turned to look at Raleigh following her riding a horse as well. "It is my duty as an Imperial Knight to assist you", the redhead smiled.

"If you're wary of the Imperial Knights, your immunity is already known by all of them

"If you're wary of the Imperial Knights, your immunity is already known by all of them. They will be punished if they cause you harm", Raziela assured. The lady looked ahead and tried to focus on her task of patrolling in Ciaran's stead for he was currently working on transferring the headship of the House to his sister. "Tell me, why did you lie to me? Were you sick or were you looking for an opportunity to behead me? When you were crawling on death's door, I hid you and made sure the soldiers would not kill a poor villager as if you introduced yourself to me. Was that your scheme to spy on us?", Raziel asked without hesitation. "I was your enemy but I was charmed by you so I abandoned the mission and decided to support you. That's why I left those maps", Raleigh answered. The lady cannot see what kind of face he is making but Raleigh didn't stutter or break with his breath.

They heard a rustling of the grass. Raziela raised her sword and went closer. She saw a peach hair and placed her sword back on the scabbard. "Finally, I was able to get a black cohosh", a cheery voice broke the tension between the two. Arabella stood and blinked a few times. "Sir Kirstein! Where am I? Where are my servants who were with me?", the peach head panicked. "We'll find them later. You seemed to be lost again", Raziela offered her hand to allow the lady to ride with her.

Arabella looked back and saw Raleigh waving at her. "Is he your friend? I haven't seen him around", the lady asked. "He's Lady Sienna's brother", the knight revealed. "Oh my, I should give my greetings", Arabella moved a lot causing her to lose her balance. Raziela was fast to hold onto her waist. "You can do the greeting later", the knight gave a small smile. The peach-haired lady suddenly felt warm on her cheeks.

They went down in an open field and the knight helped Arabella to get down. She couldn't help but look into Raziela's eyes. Though they were mesmerizing, she knew there was so much emotion in them.

"Is there something wrong with my eyes, Lady?", Raziela asked. "Oh, sorry. Your eyes are just captivating. I hope I can see Sir Kirstein's wound in his face that he wanted to hide so much", she said her thoughts out loud making Raziela flinch.
