Chapter Five - Love Story

Toya's POV:

I smile at Akito when he said the words I've wanted to hear.

"Sorry to ruin the moment but..."
I glance at Akito and I was confused at what he's saying.
I didn't hear the last part.
"Hm?" I questioned.
"Toya i said, why do you have a bandage close to your ear?" He said that blankly.
I didn't know how to respond.
I didn't even know how the scar was on there?
I guess woke up with it?

"I just woke up with it...I think"
Good thing Akito didn't question.
"Okay then.." The boy looked concerned.
We sat in silence for at least 2 minutes.

"Akito you should really clean your room"
"Too lazy"
"But this isn't like you! Just bear with me.."
"Toya, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU! STOP WORRYING ABOUT ME!"
I was shocked by those words...and yelling.
It reminded me of him.
I stared at Akito with dead eyes.
"Then I'll clean up for you"
I began to clean up his room.

Akito's POV:

I didn't regret anything I said.
I think.
I didn't like how he stared at me like that.
Did I hurt him..?
His eyes looked..dead.
Oh my god.
WHY AM I SUCH A FUCKING MORON??
I don't know how to apologize.

I stood up and whispered to Toya's ear.
"I'm sorry.."
"..."
"It's okay, Akito."

Toya's POV:

My thoughts of father were all gone.
I held the ginger's hand and flopped on the bed with him.
I was excited.
I laid down on the bed—on my phone and Akito laying next to me.
It felt like a dream come true.
My lover next to me, and I felt relieved.

Why didn't this happen earlier?
He would stare at me often, right? I tried so hard not to think about that.

"Akitoooo" I whispered.
"Hm?"
"I—" I didn't even get to finish my sentence.
My stomach growled—loudly.
I sat up and put my arms around my stomach. I was so embarrassed.
I felt my face blushing with embarrassment.
"Toya..are you hungry? You look so cute when you're embarrassed" He laughed.
I was covering my face when he said I was cute...
"I guess I am..", I whispered "you're cute too, you know.." I smiled.
"I have the best boyfriend in the WHOLE WORLD!!" Akito yelled.
"Now let's get something to eat.." I said. "How about the new cafe?"
"Whatever you want, Toya, my treat" The boy smiled.

I know my boyfriend and I will be alright.
