_________two weeks later

"Wait, we're having a dance outside?"

Jimin paused his hands that were currently rummaging through a box filled with banners. "Mhmm, didn't you hear Momo talkin' about it? She thought it would be a great way to celebrate the winter break."

"But," Jeongguk wrinkled his nose, rubbing his arms that had goosebumps dotting along. "It's cold."

"Calm your ass, it's not that cold." Jimin snorted, making Jeongguk whine and punch his shoulder. "Besides, we're performing for the first hour and then we'll dance, we'll be hot as fuck."

"I guess you're right." Jeongguk pouted, not really nervous about the performance but more about Taehyung coming to see him dance. "I jus' didn't know it was outside."

"Same, Jeongguk." Yunjin pouted, settling some stuff down that they were setting out for the performance. "My body was not made for the cold ass weather."

"But I thought you enjoyed the cold weather, Yunjin?" Felix remembered with a tilt of his head. "I thought you ice skated."

"I ice skate indoors, not out in the wild." Yunjin snipped, causing the two dancers to playfully continue to bicker until Taemin clapped his hands, alerting the dancers.

"We only have an hour before the performance time, so everyone get their outfits on, and do the dance routine one more time." He instructed and they all nodded, finishing putting the decorations around the stone tiled plaza the college association allowed them to use to represent their club.

Although the bitter, cold wind bit at Jeongguk's skin, the younger one was excited to finally perform in front of people. It had been so long since he had done such an amazing activity, the thrill of each passing beat and the roaring applause at the end was well worth all the hard work during the past weeks.

He, Jimin, Lisa and Yeonjun had solo performances which usually Jeongguk didn't mind, he loved showcasing his talent, but when he had mentioned it to Taehyung in the passing during work, he had smiled and said he would look to go to see him.

Now Jeongguk felt nervous, which was not something he felt whenever he performed. The tingling nerves rushing through his veins, the antsy fingers and heavy weight pressing his chest, Jeongguk couldn't stand it and he did everything he could to subside these annoying feelings.

Pinching the facial hair on the side of his cheeks, Jeongguk helped the last of decorating and before he knew it, the hour had come and plenty of college students crowded around the slightly raised area in the plaza.

"Are the speakers operating properly?" Hoseok asked, wearing his own fashionable street outfit that Jeongguk couldn't help but ooo at.

Hyunjin nodded, slapping his hands. "Working sharp and precise, Mr. Jung."

"Alright! Everyone, have fun with this performance. Remember, if you mess up, just keep on moving! Dancing is a way to express yourself, not a way to embarrass yourself." Momo mentioned to the dancing team who nodded firmly at her words.

She then smiled brightly, clapping her hands. "Good! Everyone get in position, we will introduce you guys then the music will stop. Solo performers, you guys have 30 seconds after the ending of the first song to get in position for your song."

With another round of nods from the dancers, Momo, Taemin and Hoseok moved to stand in front of the stage while the dancers got into position. As Jeongguk settled himself behind Yeonjun, he caught a glance of that familiar mop of messy black hair that never failed to send rushing butterflies into his stomach.
