Sophia and her three best friends, Emily, Sarah, and Jess, were having the time of their lives on the beaches of the south of France. They had been to different beaches every day, soaking up the sun, swimming in the sea, and sipping cocktails. The week had flown by and it was already Thursday which meant they only had a couple of days left. They had taken lots of pictures to document their adventures, and Sophia had been sharing them with Charles via text.
Meanwhile, Charles was busy preparing for the rest of the Formula 1 season. He had a gruelling schedule of training and sim racing, but he found himself looking forward to Sophia's messages every day. She brought a bright spot of joy and happiness to his life, and he couldn't wait to see her again in person.
As they lounged on the beach, Sophia's phone buzzed with another message from Charles.
Charles
Hey beautiful, how's your day going?
Sophia smiled at the message and quickly replied
Sophia
It's going great, thanks! We're at the beach today, and it's gorgeous here. How about you?
She quickly snapped a picture of herself to send with the text.

He had been hinting on wanting to see her again quite a couple of times the past few days. She wanted to see him as well, but didn't know how it would fit into the schedule.

I just finished in the gym and will go on a run with Andrea in a minute.
Sophia
Wow, you must be ripped when we see each other again.
Charles
I hope so
What is your next stop on your trip?
Sophia
I don't know, the girls kind of keep it a secret for me, but I think we should be headed back at the end of the week.
Sophia was so focussed on her phone while texting with Charles that she didn't notice Jess calling her name to ask if she wanted to join them in playing a game. "You have been a bit absent the past couple of days" Jess said. Sophia blushes "I'm sorry it's just.." . "It's fine we are glad you are enjoying yourself" Jess interrupted her while smiling at Sophia. She rubbed Sophia's arm to comfort her. Sophia moved over to Jess's sun bed to face Emily and Sarah. They were playing a game with dice they had been playing the whole trip. They were kind of obsessed. Emily managed to win at the end.
