Although the few days together was enjoyable (especially while Jim was there since he can't just leave his brother with a bunch of strangers), without him realizing it, it turns into a cult with him as their leader and the fans follow his every whim which turns abusive. However when one of his most loyal and obsessed fans turned disciple didn't like his new song and ask him to change the style and some of the lyrics, but Robin doesn't want to, the tables are turned and the leader becomes a slave to his own cult.

Robin: You know you're acting like Misery right now?

Ocean: You mean like Annie Wilkes? She has a name, Robin. Don't you even know my name?

Robin: Yes I know your name, Ocean Pereira!

Ocean: As you should.

At the end he got to escape with the help of five members who finally realized the insanity they got into (they also learned once they arrived in the mainland that the one member that they drove away was not murdered and already alerted the authorities while she was recuperating at the nearest hospital in the mainland) .Concert, Robin fainted

here contains parts of the group getting more cultish and actually driving away Fern from their group, bloodied

Fern talks with her fellow fans

Fern: I do think that we are being to pushy on Robin. And why do we need to force him to write a song?

Ocean: Because we know what's right for him.

Fern: Didn't you write that song and you weren't able to finish it?

Ocean: Look why have you been hating the fandom?

Fern: I'm not hating on the fandom. I'm hating how you guys are treating Robin.

Ocean looks angrily at Fern but calms down.

Ocean: You're right. We'll talk with Robin soon.

Fern sneaks in to see and talk with Robin again in his room. But she overhears a plan that will drive and murder her from the lake house.

Elliot: Ocean wants us to get rid of Fern.

Danny: How are we gonna do that

Elliot: We can poison her I guess somewhere far away from the lake house.

Danny: When?

Elliot: Probably later. The quicker she leaves, the better.

Fern: I need to leave the camp and I'll come back for you.

- where Ocean and Elliot actually lead the group and have Robin imprisoned and take his phone away.

- three of the members help Robin escape but failed pre concert day

- during the concert, Robin is able to perform but is forced to perform with Ocean and he gets anxious because Ocean is not a good singer

- Ocean uses auto-tune and it actually works

-Robin has no choice but to sing  badly live in the concert, his whole life building up to this, supposed to succeed, but have to fail to save his life and sanity.

- Ocean gets angry with him. The crowd boos, he faints.

-he wakes up at a hospital. His family is there. They are informed that Ocean, Elliot, and the rest are investigated. They are worried and upset with Robin. They didn't know what was going on. Fern told them and the police what happened and why he fainted and looked out of shape/thin.

Bad ending: 10 years later, Robin now teaches music full-time and writes songs only for himself and his friends and family and in small intimate settings like in his cafe and in his classes. Although Jim still thinks it is a waste but he understands that he doesn't want to be big-time famous anymore.

One morning, Jim sents him an email that his already teenage daughter alerted him that "Uncle Robin" is trending (all thanks to nostalgia music coming back to mainstream). They theorized that one of his audience members or students broke one of his rules and leaked his recent performances to the internet. He became an overnight success. The ending shows him reading one of the comments under one of his videos and finds a familiar name and message that came from one of his old disciples. A year later Robin is performing on the small platform of Jim's coffee shop. There is a sign on the wall that says "please no filming of the performers". The small audience applaud him. A bunch of teenagers ask him for a selfie.Teen 1: Are you going to be in the city concert next week?Robin: No. Ya'll can only see me perform here every week. Teen 1: Oh okay. Anyway, thanks for the show!
