Poppies and Prismarine

Chapter One

It was cold as the young Prince of Mezalea was on the Road into Rivendell.

"Father Why must we come here?" Prince Joel Asked. The Mezalean king turned to his son.

"Joel, This is a big event to the Rivendell people and we were invited, this is a huge honor. This is an important day to represent Mezalea as a kingdom."

"I just don't see why I have to go."

"You have to go because this is your chance to meet with the other future rulers. As well I needed to get you out of the palace, before you built a new one."

"Hey! You said you liked it."

"I do son, but you need a break and to make some friends." The king patted Joel's shoulder. Joel Grunted to the affection. "You also need to be on your best behavior."

The Sun rose as many cartridges from different kingdoms. Today was the day of the winter festival, the day to enjoy the snow and celebrate the year's work. This year was a big one. Scott's parents wanted other rulers to come and join Rivendell. Scott looked over at all the new people coming. Maybe that cute fish was coming.

"Prince Scott." A maid called as they stepped into the room. "Yes?" Scott turned from the window. "The King and queen request that you come down to greet the other Rulers with them." The maid said and bowed. "Ok, Please pass on that I will be down in a few." "Of course your highness."

After the maid had Left Scott put on his cape and headed down. He walked down the stairs into a room of people dressed in all kinds of clothes, the other rulers.

"Oh there he is!" The Rivendell queen called out. "Prince Scott, please do come here." The Prince quickly stepped down and walked to his mother's side.

"This Is Scott, our son. Dear do you have something to say to our guest?"

Scott looked around at the sea of odd people. "Yes, Welcome to Rivendell I hope you all enjoy the festival. We have all worked hard to put it together and I wish it to be to your liking." Scott said as confidently as he could before shying behind his mother. A pause filled the room until the Rivendell King stepped forward.

"On that note, please come in and enjoy yourself. The festival has already started, I look forward to all of you joining us for tonight's show and dinner. Until then feel free to walk around." The king smiled at the people.

Soon the Rulers began to shuffle into the courtyard. Scott and the King and Queen of Rivendell followed.

"Joel!" A familiar Voice called from behind. Joel turned around to see the prince of the Cod Empire. Jimmy and Joel have been long time friends because of the Cod and Mezalea Alliances.

"Oh I am so glad someone I know is here." Jimmy beamed.

"Hello Jimmy, I can say the same." Joel smiled and the Cod Prince jumped and gave Joel a hug.

Joel and Jimmy then went to sit at a table and talked about what was going on in their lives.

"I Got in trouble with the Cod Console." Jimmy said.
