Poppies and Prismarine

Chapter 7

          Scott and Jimmy walked from the Study to Scott's Bedroom. Jimmy had been in a few times but every time it would still shock Jimmy how big Scott's room was. The blue and gold painted walls, a massive bed in the middle of the room, The biggest closest in the world. Jimmy was always so curious about how one person could need so much space.

Scott walked over to his desk and pulled out a small green box. Scott walked Over to Jimmy and held the box in front of himself.

"Jimmy." Scott said Quietly.

"Here this is for you." Scott Blushed and looked down. He handed Jimmy the Box.

Jimmy took the lid off the small box and picked up what was inside.

'Oh this is so cute." Jimmy smiled looking at the gift. It was a Brooch with a poppy design It was made with jewels that shined in the light. Jimmy set it back in the box and looked at Scott, who was looking at jimmy with a eager expression.

"Did you know in elven Culture giving a brooch is sign of a first in a relationship." Scott said.

"That's nice, first of what Scott? Jimmy tilled his head in confusion. Scott then let out a soft chuckle.

"Well, I was hoping it could be for our first date." Scott started fidgeting with his fingers. Jimmy looked shocked and took a monument to understand what Scott had said. When Jimmy's shock wore off he quickly became flustered, and a small blush spread on his face. Jimmy knew off Scott's plan to ask him to the Harvest Ball but to think of it as a date was still a bit odd.

"That is not a bad idea, this red well go nicely with my outfit for the ball." Jimmy failed to hide his grin.

"Wait, what?" Scott was now the one that was shocked.

"Lizzie told me, I also told Lizzie about Joel's plan." Jimmy Smiled.

"Oh, when?"

"When I dragged her out into the hallway a few minutes earlier." Jimmy Started to chuckle.

"So, what happened is Joel was telling me about his plans to ask out Lizzie and how you also have plans. I accidentally let it slip and lizzie did the same but that it was you two trying to ask out me." Jimmy Smiled.

"Ya me and Joel Just figured that part out. So, Jimmy, is that a yes that you'll go with me to the harvest Ball? As a date?" Scott Blushed as his eyes filled with hope.

"Absolutely, It's a date." Jimmy blushed as he stepped closer to Scott.

Jimmy reached for Scott's hand and held on to them. He then with his other hand brushed it across Scott's face, both now locking eyes. Jimmy leaned down close to Scott's face.

"May I kiss you?" Jimmy asked.

"Y-ya." Scott's face turned an even brighter red as jimmy leaned down and pressed their lips together.

"How about we see how Lizzie and Joel are doing." Jimmy said as he pulled out of the kiss.

Scott Smiled and nodded as the headed back to Scotts Study.
