Jennie heard footsteps behind her and finally stopped.

She then turned around with an awful expression.

"Mino, what are you trying to do? Didn't I already make things clear to you? Can you not follow me? I don't want to be misunderstood."

She was really afraid of more scandals.

Mino's expression changed, and his eyes dimmed for a moment. But after a few seconds, his eyes lit up again. "So, you're afraid that others will misunderstand us, so you ignored me? It's not that you don't want to talk to me?"

Jennie was speechless.

"Mr. Song, do you have to make me sound so awful? Can't you tell that I don't want to talk to you? Didn't I say that we should treat each other as strangers when we meet in the future? Did I not make myself clear? Do I need to say it again?"

The light in Mino's eyes only lasted for a few seconds before dimming again.

He pursed his lips and said in a low voice, "I understand what you mean. You can treat me like a stranger, but I can't."

Jennie frowned again.

Mino looked at her steadily. "Jennie, you're my savior. You've done me a favor. I won't treat you like a stranger for the rest of my life. Even if it's just a trivial matter to you, it means something to me.

"If you hadn't saved me that night, I might not be in this world right now."

Jennie thought that this matter was over, but she didn't expect Mino to keep thinking about it.

She thought that she had made herself clear enough.

But obviously...

This was all her wishful thinking.

Mino still insisted that she owed him a huge favor, and he would remember it for the rest of his life.

Jennie had lost her memory of that year.

But if she'd known that saving Mino would make him remember her for so many years and insist on repaying her kindness, she wouldn't have saved him that night.

Of course, if she really returned to that night and saw him fall into the water, she couldn't possibly do nothing.

She would probably find someone else to save him.

Anyway, she wouldn't do it herself.

She'd rather it was Krystal who saved him that night.

"Mino, didn't I tell you that I don't remember what happened that night? Can't you forget it, too?" Jennie said helplessly.

"No." Mino's eyes seemed to flicker as he looked at her. "You don't know what that night meant to me. To you, I'm just someone you casually saved. But to me, you're someone I'll never forget.

"..." Jennie's lips twitched. "I don't care what you think. Anyway, I don't remember what happened that night. Mino, please don't look for me anymore, alright?

"Since I'm your savior, shouldn't you listen to me?"

Mino guessed what she was going to say.

He looked down and said sadly, "Mm, I'll listen to you. What are you trying to say?"

"If you really want to repay me for saving your life, can you pretend not to know me in the future? Mino, I really don't want others to misunderstand our relationship."
