"Grandma, Mom."
Jennie took out two boxes from the bag she was holding and handed one to Old Madam. "This is a gift I brought back. I hope you'll like it."
Jennie bought these gifts from Y City.
"A gift?" Old Madam received the box happily. "You only just got back, what gift did you prepare?"
Jennie nodded and said softly, "It's not anything expensive. It's just that when I was in Y City, I saw some unique things and bought some. Grandma, don't mind it."
"I don't mind. It's good enough that you have this intention." Old Madam took the box and opened it with a smile.
Jennie really didn't buy anything expensive.
Because she felt that the Manoban family didn't lack anything.
Hence, she bought something special.
She bought Old Madam a scarf embroidered with a few crepe myrtle flowers.
Embroidered scarves were sold everywhere.
But this embroidery was different.
"The embroidery is really nice. I like this flower, too." Old Madam wasn't unhappy just because she received a worthless scarf. On the contrary, she quite liked it.
"Jennie, Grandma likes it very much. You've put in a lot of effort."
Old Madam's attitude made Jennie feel that her previous worries were a little "petty".
"As long as Grandma likes it." Jennie handed another box to Madam Manoban. "Mom, this one's for you."
Madam Manoban looked up calmly.
She was obviously uninterested in her gift.
But since Lisa and Old Madam were standing at the side, she still reached out to receive it.
She handed it to the housemaid. "Keep it."
She had no intention of opening it.
Lisa frowned. "Mom, aren't you going to open it and see what it is?"
"No need, I'll open it later."
Lisa frowned again, his expression a little dark. His thin lips moved as if he wanted to say something.
Jennie tugged at his sleeve. "Mom said she'll open it later. The gift is for her, she can open it anytime she wants."
"Mom, let's get down to business."
Madam Manoban looked at Jennie and said coldly, "Lisa, your grandma did ask you to come back for something. Your grandma and I saw the news. They said that you broke up with the Song Corporation and took back all the cooperation between the Manoban and Song Corporations. Is that true?"
Old Madam looked at him.
"Lisa, is what your mom said true?"
Lisa smiled calmly and nodded. "Mm, it's true."
Old Madam was stunned and her expression changed.
Madam Manoban said, "I thought it was the media being unscrupulous again. I didn't expect it to be true. Lisa, what are you trying to do? We and the Song family have always been on good terms, and our cooperation has always been good. Why are you doing this?"
"Do you know how much losses we'll suffer if you do this?"
"Of course I know." Lisa's expression was still calm. "I know what you're thinking about. Mom, Grandma, I know what to do with the company, you don't have to worry."
