The night of rescue..

The Room that was shut....

The maths olympiad was 3 months away but still Ethan was worried. "I don't know how bad I am gonna do? " he said to Aerin in the class.

"Don't worry you have started the extra classes right ?" asked Aerin

Ethan replied,"Yes, of course. Every night I practice from 10:00 till 2:00  I practice on the third floor's room no.4, by the way have you heard of the mystery about third floor's room no.2 ?"

Aerin curiously asked," Ummm no. But what's the mystery?"

Ethan looked around suspiciously, lowered his voice and told Aerin,"Ms.Paul never conducts classes there, it's always locked and no one is allowed to open room no.2 or go on the third floor except her, the watchman and me only for practice of course. Even i have been given strict warnings. But no one knows exactly why is the room and floor restricted. I kind of dislike her for putting too much pressure on me for the olympiad."

Aerin carefully listened , quickly turned to Ms.Paul and simply asked her," Ms.Paul why are we not allowed to go on the third floor ?" 

Ms. Paul immediately broke eye contact with Aerin and looked downwards,she appeared quite nervous and stuttered," D...d..don't ask questions that a..a..aren't  in...in your syllabus.D..do not meddle in other things."

There was silence in the classroom that was the first time when the calm and sweet Ms.Paul lost her calm and panicked. Ethan and Aerin both were shocked and serious. Then a parent entered the class and said," Good evening Ms.Paul . Sorry to disturb the class it has been an hour since the batch ended but Ava has not returned home."

Ms.Paul replied in an unusual low voice,"Actually your daughter Ava has been bunking classes since three days. I thought she would stop it soon after I caught her. Sorry, but I do not know anything else. Even today she has not arrived to class."

"Oh , that is shocking! Thank you so much for informing me. I will try to contact her friends to know where she is now." said the parent and was about to leave.

Then Ms.Paul stopped the parent and caringly requested," Please do not be harsh on Ava after you find her, try to make her understand calmly. And yes, please let me know the further updates."

"If you say so, sure." replied the parent and left. Then Ms.Paul continued teaching and the class was soon over.  Ethan, Suzi, Aerin and Erix then decided to hangout at Ethan's house. Ethan's house was small but organized, and it was sweet smelling like chocolate.

When everyone entered Ethan's house . He came out of the kitchen with four bowls of noodles that smelt like heaven . Ethan lived alone, as his parents had sent him here for studies from London.  Ethan cooked for himself and  was a pretty good chef. Everyone enjoyed the noodles while Aerin narrated the whole incident.

Erix excitedly said," Friends, there is definitely something fishy going on. We need to find out."

Ethan replied," Actually I have a suspect." 

"Who?" everyone asked together.

" The watchman. Haven't you guys observed ? he is seen most of the time on third floor even in the batch timings and when I study at night he always keeps  a watch on me for a long time and wanders mostly near room no.2 " explained Ethan.

"Ethan can we come on third floor while your night time study session? We will try to do some research " asked aerin.

Ethan answered," Hmmm. Seems difficult, but isn't impossible. So, between 10:00 till 10:30 and 1:30 and 2:00 the watchman comes and keeps a watch on me, then i leave the building. You all can try to come at 11:00 secretly , when the watchman is mostly asleep. You should use the entrance at the back. All of you should also leave by 1:30. Erix you are going to manage  bringing everyone safely here and back to home without getting caught. Suzi be careful and don't make silly mistakes . Aerin bring 2 torches along with you "

" Alright. I also have invented a name for our group - The mystery ministers." said Suzi. Everyone loved the name.

" So ministers, tomorrow after class we three will meet at 11 at , in the academy. Be ready and best of luck" Aerin guided Erix and Suzi. Everyone agreed and left the house.
