The night of rescue..

Aerin's Plan

Ethan was away, the ministers were missing the delicious noodles he made and him of course as well. But, Aerin had a secret plan running on her mind.

The morning Ethan left the city, Aerin planned another visit to the third floor on the same day at night. But, this time she was going alone, without telling the others. She planned to go at 2 and come back till 3.

Mrs.Lina was out of town for a few days, so her plam had no hurdles. That night she reached the academy at sharp 2. 

She stole the keys from the watchman's table and proceeded till third floor. There was pin drop silence, though she felt as if someone was walking in the building. But she kept walking bravely.

As she stepped on third floor and turned the torch on, it slipped from her hands and fell on the floor. She bent down to pick it up, the footsteps grew even louder.

As she touched the torch, a strong hand grabbed her ponytail and dragged her powerfully to a room. She screamed,"NO! STOP!!!" but it was of no use.

Finally Ethan was back and had loads of worksheets to complete, though he managed to meet Erix and Suzi. Suzi asked Ethan,"by the  way have you met Aerin? Because I haven't seen her in 2 days"

Erix agreed," Yup, me neither."

"Oh, is it. Maybe she is practicing extra maths or tennis. I haven't met her yet. Maybe she is ill. I will try to meet her this evening." Ethan replied and took his leave. He reacted casually infront of others but he was concerned, and had a weird feeling. 

He thought something was wrong, because someone can't go missing for 2 days just because of practice.

Ethan decided that he had  to find out where Aerin was.

First he went to her house and found the house locked. Next he went to the tennis club, where Aerin was not there. He was disappointed but did not give up. He called  Erix and Suzi to his house for a discuccion.

They were soon at Ethan's house. He started the conversation by," I searched for Aerin at her house and also the tennis club. She was present in neither. If she was ill, she should have been at home."

Erix said ," She is neither ill nor practicing. Maybe she is out of town."

Suzi replied," Actually I forgot to mention, Aerin is not in the town for 3-4 days. Maybe that's why Ethan found the house locked. But she also said that she was going to stay in town."

"Then there is something fishy. Ethan, actually many students are missing since last 3 days. First Ava then Alex, Arora, Anna and now Aerin. But there is a strange pattern here, all of their names start  with the letter A." Erix answered

"Hmmm. I think that somehow Room no.2 is connected wit this. I also think that Ms. Paul has the keys for room no.2" Ethan shared his opinion.

"Why do you think so? She is such a calm and peaceful lady, that minds her own business. she never even speaks about room no.2" Erix replied.

"She never speaks about it  because she is scared. Do you remember when Aerin asked  her about room no.2? She panicked like crazy. She lost her calm. That's why I doubt her." Ethan explained.

"Yeah. I have a plan" said Erix.

"What? PLAN!!" Ethan asked with shock and excitement.

"Ethan, I can't tell you now much about it as you already ahve so many worksheets and homework, I don't want to make you feel stressful. Just remember, tomorrow at 4 during clas go to Ms.Paul's cabin and ask her a complicated maths doubt. Let whatever happen, but do not get out of the cabin tomorrow. You will definitely get a chance to investigate her cabin " Erix answered him.

Then he turned to Suzi and said," Suzi, we gotta go. I'll explain the plan to you on the way."

Then both of them left.
