"Hey kat uh can we meet in an hour please at mine."

I get up and get dressed mentally preparing myself
Colby is out at the moment so I don't know when he will be back
1 hour later
Knock knock
"Hey. Kat"
"Hey sammy" she hugs me
"Let's go to the living room and sit on the couch I need to talk to you."
"Alright"
We both walk in and sit on the couch facing eachother
"Kat. You know how you have been wanting to take the next step. Well I've not been on the same page as you and I think it's best we go our separate ways."
"So you want to break up with me.?"
"Yeah. Look I'm sorry your an amazing woman I love you so much I would hate to hold you back" I say as I tear up
"Yeah i-i get it. I'll go"
"N- sorry. Bye"
"Bye sam." She slams the door
I race up to my room and let out quiet sobs into my pillow about 10 minutes after katrina left colby cave back
"Sam! Sam I brought you some pop tarts whe-" He walks in to me waring a hoodie with wet sleeves
"Sam! What happened" he says running to my bed
"I- I broke up with her."
"You. Broke up with kat?"
"Yeah" I say sobbing
"Shh shh its okay." He says hugging me and rubbing my back
"Its okay sam. Get some rest."
I sob into his shoulder
"Hey. Look at me." I look at him
"Everything will be okay you made a good decision you will feel better soon it's always hard at first."
"I. I know"
I lay down and colby joins me and wrapps his arms around Me
"Listen don't worry about it you can talk to het more tomorrow I'm sure she understands."
"Yeah. Hopefully."
"Goodnight sam."
"Goodnight colby."
