It all started when Daniel Smith came to camp. He was running from two hellhounds. I ran to his aid and killed the two hellhounds just as everyone came to see what was going on. As I was about to speak he shouted out,

"I killed twenty hellhounds while this wimp hid behind those bushes!" I rolled my eyes. Then I noticed everyone glaring at me.

"I thought I taught you better." Chiron said, disappointment clear on his face and in his voice. Everyone turned and left. What just happened? Daniel was told of my tales and adventures and soon got jealous. That night at camp fire he was claimed, by Aphrodite.

"No!" Daniel shouted, his voice rich and persuasive, "That symbol is the symbol of Poseidon, not Aphrodite. I am a son of Poseidon." I frowned in confusion. What? How? He doesn't even look like a son of Poseidon! He has dirty blond hair and brown eyes with a pale complexion.

Suddenly everyone around me started nodding, even Annabeth. They all knelt for him.

"Hail Daniel, son of Poseidon, earthshaker, father of horses." Chiron shouted. I was the only one left standing.

"Percy! Kneel!" Annabeth hissed at me.

"Don't you see through it?" I asked her.

"See through what?" She asked.

"He's charmspeaking you!"

"Don't be stupid. He's a son of Poseidon, not Aphrodite." I gaped at her then I stormed off to my cabin. I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling in the dark. Suddenly the door banged open and in came Daniel. He stood at my bed.

"I want that bed." He said to me, pointing at my bed.

"It's taken." I replied.

"Well I want it. Give it to me." He tried to charmspeak me, but it didn't work.

"Bite me." He glared at me.

"I know you're a son of Aphrodite so don't even try your little act on me." He glared again and I glared back. He flinched and walked to another bed. Over the next few days he turned everyone against me, even the gods. The only ones left were Leo, because he was still missing, Nico, because he was always away, Thalia, because she was with the hunters of Artemis and surprisingly Clarrise, who was immune to his charmspeak. I packed a bag full of things, like clothes, money, drachmas, ambrosia and nectar. Then I went to say goodbye to Annabeth. I walked down to the beach to look for her but froze as I saw someone sitting next to her. It was Daniel. He leaned over and kissed her. My heart shattered.

"When are you going to dump that loser?" He asked.

"Whenever you want." She replied in a monotone.

"Not now. I want you to still cheat on him for a while." He replied and kissed her again. I trudged back up the hill, to the stables. Clarrise was there. She smiled slightly.

"Hey." She said softly.

"Hey." I walked to Blackjack.

"So you're really leaving?" She asked. I nodded and climbed onto Blackjack.

"I can't stay here, not when everyone hates me." We walked outside the stables.

"I'm gonna miss you, Princess." I smiled at the nickname.

"I'll IM you soon. See you later." I told her.
Fly. I thought to Blackjack.
You got it boss. He replied and took off into the air. We rapidly flew higher. Soon Clarrise was just a pinprick in the distance.
To Montauk. My mom has a cabin there.
Hey, can I have doughnuts? He thought to me. I laughed.
Sure. I replied.
Really? He asked in surprise.
Yeah. I answered. He did a loop in the air and I had to cling on to him in order to not fall off.
Stop at that doughnut place. I told him. He landed and I walked in. A few minutes later I came out with a box of doughnuts.
Ooh! What kind did you get? He asked eagerly.
Vanilla and chocolate. I said.
Yum. He stuck his head in the box and a few seconds later it was empty. I discarded the box and climbed back onto Blackjack. We flew for about an hour before arriving at our destination.
Thanks. You can fly back to camp half blood or you can stay in this area.
I'll stay here. He replied and flew off. I walked in and put my bag down. Suddenly my cellphone rang.
