So this is the last chapter of The Betrayal and I just wanted to thank everyone who has ever given me support. I have been so grateful for every read, vote and comment anyone has ever posted. Except those haters, who I have realised, with a little help, that they do not matter to me, or anyone else. So thank you actually, to those hateful comments, because they taught me to do what I love, no matter what. This last chapter is dedicated to everyone who has ever been supportive of me and my book.

"Look Annabeth, I know you're sorry, and I know it wasn't your fault, but I can't go back to camp. Not yet at least." Annabeth stared at me tearfully through the Iris message. It had been a month, since I almost killed Khione. Almost as soon as she had fled, the spell that she had created broke and everyone saw Daniel for who he really was. After chasing him out, they immediately tried to convince me to come back.
"But I love you! I never meant to do any of that stuff!" She wailed. I sighed.
"I know, and I forgave you and everyone else, but I still don't think that I can date you anymore." I tried to explain.
"Please Percy!" She begged. I felt my heart lurch. I still love her, but what I said is true. The pain of the betrayal could never go away fully.
"I'm sorry Annabeth." I said sadly then cut through the message with my hand.
"Girl problems?" Tony asked, leaning against the doorway. I nodded, smiling at him.
"The team is in the living room, watching a movie. Wanna join?" He asked. I just nodded and stood up. We walked to the lounge, where Natasha was sprawled across the couch, Bruce was sitting beneath her legs looking uncomfortable while Clint lay on the ground, moaning. Steve sat in the chair next to them. Tony rolled his eyes.
"What happened here?" He demanded.
"I told Clint to move over, but when he didn't I pushed him off of the couch." Natasha said simply. Percy laughed.
"What are we watching?" I asked. They all shrugged.
"We couldn't decide." Steve answered. A smile spread across my face.
"I've got just the movie." I said, switching one of my favourite movies on.
"What is it?" Bruce questioned, but I just gave him a lopsided grin.
"You'll see." I said mysteriously. A few moments later the movie started.
"FINDING NEMO!" Tony yelled, sounding like a child. "I LOVE THIS MOVIE!" He shrieked. I laughed, along with everyone else. They were laughing at both Tony's behaviour and my choice of movies. Halfway into the movie, I felt a strong wave of power appear. I looked around, before seeing a flash of lightning outside. My eyes widened in realisation and I nudged Tony.
"Tony." I muttered into his ear.
"Hm?" He hummed in question, his eyes still glued to the television.
"Thor's here." I stated. He blinked, then looked at me.
"What?" He asked, now concentrating on me.
"Thor's here." I repeated.
"He is?" He asked, as the elevator opened with a cheerful bing.
"HELLO MY FRIENDS!" Thor boomed as he stepped out of the metal doors. Everyone jumped as they got a fright, everyone but me, as I knew he was here already.
"Thor! You gave me a fright!" Clint gasped and Thor just smiled merrily.
"Yes, well-" He froze as he saw me. "Perseus?" He asked, dumbstruck. I just smiled at him.
"Hey Thor, how's it been?" I asked.
"It's been fine. Uneventful since Loki's treachery." He said.
"Wait, you know each other?" Tony asked, looking between us. I just nodded.
"He's my... cousin? Uncle? I'm not really sure, but we're somehow related." I shrugged, before Thor engulfed me with a bone crushing hug that could rival Tyson's.
"Okay, let me go now." I squeaked out and he let go. I gasped for breath.
"Geez. Tyson must be jealous of your hugs." I muttered. Tony smiled and I sat back down again. We continued watching the movie, Thor pausing the film at random intervals to ask ridiculous questions;
"What is a P Sherman?"
"Why does the tiny fish have one fin smaller than the other?"
"Why must they just keep swimming?"
I actually felt relieved that Thor couldn't ask any more questions when the movie finished. I stood up, putting the empty popcorn bowl down.
"Oh, Perseus, may I have the honour of battling you?" Thor asked. I smiled.
"Why not? But call me Percy." We walked to the training room, the rest of the team trailing after us. I could feel the excitedness and anticipation rolling off of them in waves. I stood opposite Thor and out of the corner of my eyes, I saw money being passed around. They were betting on us! I let out a bark of laughter.
"Weapons?" I asked. Thor nodded and I uncapped Riptide.
"Are powers allowed?" I asked again.
"Are you sure you want me to use my powers?" He asked, a smug smile on his face.
"I should be asking you the same thing." I said, circling him.
"Oh well. Prepare to be destroyed." He shrugged and I shot him a cold smile.
"We'll see." I said, my eyes glinting with anticipation of kicking his godly butt.
