My eyes fluttered open to another day. Morning sun spilled through my windows and painted my ceiling in a golden glow.

A slow smile resided across my face as I remembered the night before.

I cleared out things with Baymax, everything is okay now.

Better than okay.

My heart fluttered every time I thought through our conversation.

I popped up happily and skipped out of my room without a second thought. My empty stomach and eager feet lead me straight to the kitchen. I popped around the corner giving a pat on mochi's head, who was sitting on the counter.

Cass's eyes widened as she saw me, she was cooking something on the stove top. "..y/n!" She said in surprise.

"Hey, Cass. Wacha making?" I peaked over her shoulder. "French toast? Looks amazing" I beamed to her and turned to sit at the table.

"Y/n?" She repeated, turning with a hand on her hip. "You're strangely... peppy." She said raising her eye brow.

"Ah.. thanks?" I kinda laughed and leaned on the table with my forearms. "When's that toast gonna be done? It's Making my mouth water." I try to change the topic.

She stepped away from the stove and closer to the table. "Why are you acting so weird?" She asked. "I thought you'd be more down after..." she hesitated as I remember what happened around this time yesterday at the café. I sighed and put my smile back on.

"Oh, right. Hiro told you about that." I avoided eye contact with her. "No, I'm Okay. Very okay." I sighed with pleasure as I rested my hand on my palm. I could hardly remember the embarrassment compared to the love I experienced yesterday.

"Ummm.. okayyy." Cass said suspiciously nodded, bringing me back to reality. She crossed her arms and clicked her tongue before responding to me. "Just remember.. if you need to talk about anything, I'm always-"

"Cass." I interrupted her.

She gave me a look, clearly not appreciating my interruption "What?"

"Is your toast supposed to be smoking?" I asked, pointing behind her to the burning pan.

"Huh, Oh!" She gasped and turned to get the pan.

I giggled a bit at the situation as I looked over to see Hiro emerging from the hallway. He had the same reaction as Cass, wide-eyed and surprised.

"Good morning." He cleared his throat after staring for a sec. He joined the spot by me at the table, cautiously looking up to me. "How are you doing."

"..good. pretty good." I nodded and looked forward.

"Mm.." he hummed in response. "I.. uh, came to check on you last night. You didn't answer." He informed me.

I immediately remembered but shrugged it off. "Oh, you did? I must have been asleep." I explained and hopped off my chair to grab some coffee from the machine.

"Okay.." he slowly nodded and tapped his fingers on the table. "Anyway, I just went down to the garage to print off some of the blue prints for the mobile-Max project and I was just wondering-"
