Challets arrives to the concert, it has not started yet, he is standing around in a waiting area when he sees Scotty eating a croissant that they were serving at the snack bar.

"Hey Scotty."

"Oh, hi Challets."

"So, what do you think about this concert? It sounds fun I can't wait for it to start."

"Yeah, I guess, I mean it sounds exciting, but I didn't have a choice."

"Who are you here with?"

"The school band." Scotty said while chewing on his croissant.

"Oh, I kinda wanted to join the school band but I thought it seemed dorky... What instrument do you play?"

"InstruMENTS." Scotty snapped back, "I play saxophone in the band as my main instrument, but I also play baritone, French horn, tuba, drums, flute, recorder, mellophone, xylophone......"

Scotty continues to talk on and on about the various instruments that he plays while Challets loses interest and looks off into the distance and forgets that Scotty is talking.

About 10 minutes later Challets snaps out of it and realizes that Scotty is STILL talking, ".... I also play the piano, which makes me a penised."

Challets finally cuts off Scotty, "Now what is a penised supposed to be?"

"It's a play on words for the word pianist, but penised sounds cooler."

^No, it doesn't it's just a sad attempt at a joke that no one finds funny because you are not funny, you are just a tryhard, it's sad really.^ Challets thought to himself, but of course he did not actually say that, instead he attempted to stay calm as he said

"I know right why doesn't everyone just say that..."

"Wow you are bad at sarcasm." Said Scotty in a playful voice.

"Well, I tried to not be mean considering it was a lame joke."

"Good job, I guess? Anyway, the concert is starting soon, talk later!"

"Ok I'm gonna go find my seat."

Challets and Scotty go to their assigned seats in the auditorium as they wait for the concert to start. Challets is seated next to one of his friends, Horsey Hollaman.

The concert starts and the songs that they sing are hit songs from decades ago, but they are still iconic to this day.

"Hey Challets, this concert is bussin' for real." Says Hollaman while he's dancing to the songs.

"I know right! These girls are really talented at singing." Replied Challets.

Scotty looks over at Challets and Hollaman dancing to the music and he gets up from his seat and goes over to start dancing with them.

"It's fun over here! I'm gonna dance with you guys." Exclaimed Scotty as he started jamming out to the music with the group.

^I don't know what it is about this 'Scotty' kid, but I feel so... comfortable when he's around? I don't know what it's supposed to mean but he really is only a friend that I literally just met so I can't have feelings for him. No. No way in hell I have feelings for him... SNAP OUT OF IT^ Thought Challets as they were all dancing, he is convinced that he doesn't feel anything more than a friendly relationship with Scotty, but he is worried that something may quickly be developing.

-Later on that night, the concert ends.

While Challets was walking back to the van to go back to school, Scotty walks up behind him and slaps his butt as a joke.

Challets then says, "Scotty what is your zodiac sign?"

"It's complicated, I was about to come out in early August therefore I would be a Leo, but I was born in late August so technically I'm a Virgo."

"Oh, I'm a Virgo too, I was born in early September."

"Wow I'm surrounded by Virgos; my girlfriend is also a Virgo in late August."

"Girlfriend?" Asked Challets with strong curiosity.

"Yeah, her name is Celeste, It's a French name."

^HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND?!?!?!?!?!!? I don't care... Why would I care?? HAHAahahahAhaHahAhhaHAaHahAHahaahahahahhaahahAHAHAAHa^ Thought Challets as he was having a mental breakdown on the inside.

"That's cool" Said Challets as he tried to be calm, "I bet she's real nice considering she's a Virgo."

"Yeah... Anyway, let's get in the bus, come sit next to me."

"Ok sure."

When Challets sat next to Scotty, he put his arm around Challets and that made him feel really warm on the inside even though he won't admit it.

When they got back to the barracks at school (That's what the living spaces were called, our specific barracks was called Alpha Company.) they said goodnight to each other and Challets went back to his room, and he was happy that he found a new friend that he really got along with.
