It was the day after the concert and Challets was showing Scotty to his classes because he was a new student who had just arrived as a mid-term student for the beginning of the Spring semester.
After Challets explains Scotty's schedule to him a few times, he eventually catches on.
"So right here is the band hall, then on your right is the building for English and your electives, and over there are the buildings for Social Studies, Foreign Language, Science, and Math. Got it?" Explained Challets in an annoyed manner.
"Yeah, I got it, thanks dude." Replied Scotty.
"No problem, although next time just try and comprehend it the FIRST time I explain it to you, ok?"
"Alright lemme just magically improve my attention span..." Said Scotty followed by a giggle.
Challets shot him a look telling him how not funny he was.
"Ok, ok, ok, sorry..." Scotty said in response to the look.
"Anyways see you later" Said Challets.
"K see ya." Replied Scotty.
-School ends and Challets returns back to the barracks
Challets goes back to his room and his roommate is not back yet, instead he is greeted by his good friend Mentiroso Bryer.
"Oh hey Bryer." Said Challets.
"Hi Challets how are you!" Exclaimed Bryer.
"I'm well how about yourself? Oh, and have you seen Scotty, he's in band with you right?"
Bryer was the best baritone player in the history of the school band.
"I'm good, he's at band practice right now since he's new, and SPEAKING OF HIM...." Said Bryer in an ominous voice.
Challets has known Bryer long enough to know that he was about to gossip.
"What about him?" Asked Challets.
"Oh my God he has been like, watching porn on his kindle and jerking off in the bathroom like, 10 times a day, like, O.M.G." Gossiped Bryer.
"How do you do that on a kindle??"
"I don't know you would have to ask him." Said Bryer.
-Later that day before dinner
Challets sees Scotty return from the band hall and he goes into his room and gets his kindle out of his desk drawer.
"Oh, hey Scotty." Snapped Challets as he popped into the room.
"Oh um, hi." Replied Scotty.
"So, hey I heard that you have been watching porn on that thing, how and, WHY are you doing that?" Asked Challets in a weirded-out voice.
"Oh, I'll show you how to do it, look here." Said Scotty gladly.
Scotty shows Challets how to access google/the internet on his kindle.
"Wow that's um, something that shouldn't be on a kid's toy..." Said Challets.
"Ok well I'm gonna go jack off, see ya." Stated Scotty enthusiastically.
^What the fuck did this kid just say out loud?^ Thought Challets.
"Uhhhhh, well bye." Replied Challets.
Challets goes to Bryer's room and starts dying laughing explaining the whole thing to him.
"NO WAY!" Exclaimed Bryer.
Bryer goes over to Scotty's bathroom and kicks the door down, at that point Scotty screams like a little girl, and Bryer yells-
"EVERYONE GUESS WHAT SCOTTY IS JERKING OFF IN THE BATHROOM ON HIS KINDLE AGAIN!"
Scotty screams "SHUT UP" so loud that the decibel level at which he screamed cannot be put into words in this story.
At this point everyone is on their way to the mess hall (aka cafeteria) to eat dinner and when Scotty is "finished" in the bathroom he goes and sits next to Challets.
"I'm going to kill Bryer...," said Scotty.
"Don't, I'm sure he was just playing around."
"What he did is not acceptable." Whined Scotty.
"SCOTTY! COME HERE!" Screamed the DI.
"I'm coming sir!" Said Scotty.
The DI questions Scotty about what happened, and it doesn't seem to end well, he returns to the table.
"I'm on restriction for the weekend, they won't give me my phone." Stated Scotty in a very disappointed tone.
"Oh, that's too bad, well maybe you can still meet my best friends and my favorite sister, Alexa." Replied Challets.
"Yeah maybe."
-They return to the barracks after dinner.
Challets goes up to his room and reads a book while Scotty goes to the DI office to explain the whole situation, the DI doesn't care and still puts him on restriction for possession of pornography.
About a half hour later Bryer comes up to Challets' room and says, "OMG Scotty just tried to commit suicide!"
"WHAT!" Exclaimed Challets.
Challets runs down the stairs to confront Scotty about this, but they will not allow anyone to talk to him at the moment because he is on suicide watch, so he waits until the next day.
-The next morning
"Scotty are you ok? Why did you try to commit suicide!?" Exclaimed Challets.
"Don't worry I wasn't actually going to kill myself, I just wanted attention enough so I could have a phone call with my parents." Reassured Scotty.
"And ATTEMPTING A SUICIDE was the way to go?"
"Yep."
"Well what did you attempt your 'fake suicide' with?"
"The shoelace for my boots."
"With a shoelace? Are you kidding me?" Asked Challets, disappointedly.
"It's a good way to get attention I guess?" Replied Scotty.
"Well, it worked..."
Challets goes on about his day wondering why they hell anyone would attempt an attempt at suicide for attention, but then he realizes this is Scotty we're talking about.
