Carousel: Never Ending Cycle

"It's for all the right reasons, baby." Part 1

-5 months earlier-

It was September 14th, Mitchell Challets' 13th birthday. He hadn't known that a boy a few doors down had feelings for him for the last month since school started, the boy's name was Tetabien and he was a 14 year old freshman who looked exponentially younger than his peers but being amongst the older crowd nonetheless.

Tetabien thought his whole life that he was a heterosexual, attracted to women, but when he had his first conversation with Challets something sparked and he found out that he was, in love...

Now Challets wasn't having the best birthday, it was the day of an English test that he got a B on, and Challets could not stand getting anything lower than an A. Tetabien noticed this and he took it into consideration, he saw Challets in the theater room later that day and decided to sit next to him.

"Hey Challets how is your day going today?" Said Tetabien.

"It's going fine, could've had a better birthday but I guess not everything is meant to be." Replied Challets.

"Meant to be?" Asked Tetabien. "What do you mean by that?"

"I mean like, my grades are good for the most part but everyone bullies me and it just makes me feel so isolated and lonely. It's exhausting, and it's all because of my stupid voice... WHY IS IT SO HIGH PITCHED!?" Screamed Challets as he started crying.

Now a secret about Challets is that he was REALLY confused about who he liked in terms of whether they were boys or girls. (In case you haven't noticed from the last few chapters) It was sad that his voice kinda gave his "confusion" away.

"Can I ask you something?" Stated Tetabien.

"What is it?" Snapped Challets although he didn't mean to respond so aggressively.

"Do you.. like me? Because well, I like you..." Said Tetabien.

"Uhh... I- I don't know." Replied Challets. 

Challets didn't know what to say because he did have feelings for Tetabien but he didn't know the right way to express it. As he got off the couch Tetabien pulled him back down, closed the door and then they started to... make out with each other on the couch.

Challets pulls away and says "I don't think we should be doing this. It's wrong."

"It's for all the right reasons, baby." Replied Tetabien as he leaned back in.

Challets was half-right, they shouldn't have been doing it at that particular place in time, because while they were digging each other's tongues down each other's throats, a friend of theirs walked through the door. His name was Doctor Brown. And yes, his first name was indeed Doctor.

"O-M-G!" Screamed Brown as he ran down the hall in excitement.

Brown was openly very, very, gay. Which gave Challets and Tetabien a bit of relief for the first split second that they saw Brown walk in, but as they were chasing him down the hall, they were terrified for their lives because Brown talked WAY too much.

"Brown please be quiet!" Yelled Challets.

"Ok fine but we are going inside of the theater room to talk about this..." Replied Brown.

When they went into the room, Brown forced both of them to admit that they were into each other or he would tell everyone about their dirty little secret.

"Ok I'm glad you both admitted it to me, YAS QUEENS!" Said Brown.

"And you won't tell anyone right?" Asked Challets and Tetabien.

"Of course not, just uh... find a room next time please. Y'all are lucky it was ME who walked in on that." Replied Brown.

"Ok thanks for the advice." Stated the couple.

For the next week, Challets and Tetabien would meet up in an empty room down the hall and they would do things that God would probably not forgive... Everything was going great until one evening Tetabien decided to tell his friend what they were doing because his friend asked him why Challets screamed "AHH ITS SO BIG!" the day before. 15 minutes after that interaction, Challets walks over to Tetabien's room when his friend walks out.

"What are you doing?" The friend asked Challets.

"I'm going to help Tetabien with his homework, why?" Replied Challets.

"Oh I know you're doing more than that, he told me EVERYTHING. YALL ARE GROSS! I'm telling everyone about the nasty shit you guys are doing!" Laughed Tetabien's friend as he ran past Challets down the hall.

Terrified, Challets goes into Tetabien's room and asks him why he told his friend.

"I'm sorry, I thought I could trust him..." Said Tetabien.

The Cadet Platoon Commander walks into the room and says "Challets and Tetabien, you need to come with me to my room, we have to discuss some conspiracy going around."

They all walk into the room and the CPC closes the door, and from there, the interrogation starts.
