he had heard it as an advertisement in a playlist of his. during his walk to the skate park, in the middle of listening to avril lavigne's 'complicated'. he never questioned it at first, it sounded like a normal ad, however, when the voice started changing and a loud alarm blared like an airhorn, that was when he knew something was up. flinching he took out his earbuds, frowning as he tapped his phone screen which shut off, "what the actual hell?" he tapped once more, pushing harder, faster, he even tried hitting it with his hand. "i knew i should've bought an android." he sighed running a hand through his hair before the screen turned on, putting in his earbuds once more, he heard a jingle, bright colors in random shapes now morphing into what looked like the start of a game.

"a game?" the boy chuckled to himself, "is this a new thing? i'm pretty sure I would've heard of this so called fast pace, and what the hell do they mean win cash? what is this, jeopardy?" he shook his head, "i know a scam when i see one." despite his efforts, the game would not close once opened, feeling frustrated the male pressed his home button trying his best to make his screen turn back to normal. "this junk of a phone, why the hell isn't it working?!" and just as he was about to throw it out of rage, his eyes widened, feeling both intrigued, and creeped out at the same time.
