Prologue

"A car accident occured around here! Please help!" A panicked witness cried through the phone as other people nearby rushed ans attempted to help the injured.

Where were you? You couldn't remember what happened properly, all you could recall was being inside a taxi with the cab driver with shattered glass but everything else felt fuzzy. The faint noises of the ambulance and the panicked voice from the cab driver was ringing in your ears, before you passed out and woke up again in the hospital.

Your whole body was in pain, your health wasn't the best and as a result you've always been very careful with how you intake food and doing other stuff in your daily life. The doctor was nearby and his voice sounded so muffled, like all you can hear is the faint ringing in youe head from the ambulance earlier.

"Honey!?" Your fiancée's voice distracted you from your dazed mind and you weakly sit up. Gorou Amamiya was a medical student and you've both been engaged for a year now, planning to be wedded months later. "No no no, how did this happen!?"
"Gorou.." You saw the tears in his dark eyes and, with the limited strength you have, gently cupped his cheek. "Hi dear, sorry this happened." You said, "I can't remember much, everything else is so... fuzzy. Am I in the hospital?"

He looked even more emotional and his voice grew panicked. "Please, please. You'll be okay, the ambulance came and took you here. You'll be fine, you're alright. I promise you'll—"
"The doctor... he must've had bad news, he looked remorseful when glancing at my injuries and x-ray." You looked at him sadly. "Dear, it's alright to tell me that. I don't remember what exactly hurt my body, however it left a big impact."

Gorou choked a bit from how much he was sobbing. He moved closer and carefully moved your hand away from his cheek, to gently place it back down as he refuses to let go of your hand. "I don't... I don't want to lose you. I can't, I don't know what to do without you."
You felt tears welt up. "You'll be alright, you're a strong man Gorou. You have a bright future ahead of you, you're intelligent, funny and a loving guy. You'll be an amazing gynecologist." You paused and teared up. "I just wish... I wouldn't have to leave you like this." You both continued crying, your strength fading away as time passed.

Your breath barely noticable as your fiancée holds your hand tightly in the hospital, you smile softly at him one last time. With the best of your ability, you mumble out some words. "I love you, Gorou. So much."
The doctors tried to save your life, but it was too late and you unfortunately passed away in the hospital shortly after.

Darkness was all over, an endless void of pure emptiness and blackness. Is this the afterlife? Where was your soul? Suddenly, after what feels like an eternity of being stuck inside a dark void, you suddenly hear noise and your eyes flutter open... in the same hospital?!
More importantly, a woman held you tightly with a soft smile as she teared up. Your body felt smaller and fragile. "Welcome to the world, my little (Y/N)."

That's the story of how you got reincarnated years after your untimely demise and the start of a new chapter of adventure, secrets, and lies.
