The Ultimatum

"You know, one day I'm going to kill you for leaving me in a strange fucking place," I mused as I heard the rustling of the sheets beside me.
"You could try, but I'd kill you first and what fun would that be?" she had the nerve to say, "get up asshole, we have something to discuss."
I didn't move an inch, my arm remaining over my eyes as I smirked lightly when I felt her slap my arm.
"Why, mi angelita, if you want my dick so bad, you only have to say it," I said.
"I've got no time for your bullshit, Axel, get up. It's about Caroline and Kate,"
At that, I sprung up and looked at her.
"What about them?" I asked and watched as she dug through her pocket and produced a burner phone.
"So, I had a pleasant chat with your friend, Moretti," she started and I glared at her, already feeling the anger fuel me. Anger at her, anger at him - anger at them both.
"You what?"
"Yeah, he's quite the -"
"What the fuck were you thinking, Trinity?!" I shouted at her as I stood, grabbing my pants from the chair in the left corner of the room. "Do you have any idea how fucking dangerous that was? You could have been killed or kidnapped like the rest of them!" I yelled, glancing down at her body and subconsciously checking for injuries before meeting her eyes again when I saw she was unharmed.
"I was thinking I didn't have a fucking choice!" she shouted right back at me, "and I can handle myself against the fucking Morettis, but they didn't want anything to do with me. Just like how they didn't have anything to do with Caroline and Kate's kidnapping."
"You can handle yourself?" I laughed sarcastically, "the same way you handled yourself when you first came to kill me? Or how about the same way you got yourself entangled with the cartel for years? The same way you handled that?"
She narrowed her eyes at me and I saw the fire ignite in her eyes. The same fire that burned within me.
"You want to try saying that again?" she questioned as she walked towards me slowly, her voice as lethal as it could be. I didn't fucking care how lethal it went - this was my sister's life at stake; mi angelita's life at stake.
"You think you can handle this but you can't! You can't handle the fucking Morettis if you couldn't handle -" I went on but was cut short when she drew her precious fucking knife from her ankle and came straight from my neck. She backed me into a corner, my back hitting the wall as the blade pressed harshly against my neck.
"Your family took everything from me and I'm still fucking standing," she growled at me, "if that's not handling myself, I don't know what is. I've handled way more shit than you could ever imagine and I didn't quit because if I did, I'd be dead. You think you're so fucking tough, but you wouldn't fucking survive what I had to go through because of the damn cartel."
"I've survived plenty -"
"You haven't had to survive a day in your life," she snapped at me, "privileged rich boy from daddy's cartel ready to give it all up because he just doesn't feel like running it his way. Now he's here throwing a tantrum every chance he gets because he isn't getting his way - like a baby kicking and crying when they've taken their favorite blanket. Are you a baby or are you a man? You've never had to survive the way I fucking have so shut the fuck up."
