Who's Gonna Win the Race Car Game?

It was the afternoon in Pop Village. Grandma Rosiepuff had just left the pod to speak with King Peppy. Princess Poppy had just been born that morning, and she had went to meet her.

And soon the boys would meet her too, but not just yet. They were busy playing their favorite video game: Race Cars.

They each had a remote in their hands as John Dory turned the TV screen on.

John Dory: Okay guys, you all know the rules of the game. When the time starts, all we gotta do is use our remotes to control our car's speed and movement so it could win the race!

Clay: YEAH! 😃

Floyd: Also Bitty B has never played this game before, so we need to go easy on this round—

Spruce: Why go easy?

JD: Because it's Branch's first time pl—

Clay: THIS IS A RACE! WE CAN GO THE SPEED WE WANNA!

Spruce: Also there's no way he can win this! He's only a baby! 😆

Floyd: But—

JD: Forget it. Let's just start.

JD clicks the start button to the game. They each select the colors of their cars, each matching their hair colors.

JD: everyone set?

Floyd: I'm ready.

Spruce: Yep!

Bitty B (Baby Branch): *cooes and says "YA!"*

Clay: CAN WE JUST START THE GAME ALREADY!? 😡😡😡😡😡

JD: We are.

Once the timer starts, JD, Floyd, Clay, and Spruce are about to press the go buttons on their remotes...

When suddenly Bitty B's car zooms past them from the screen.

Clay: WHAT—

The bros try to pick up their cars' speeds so they can catch up.

But Branch knew how to make them lose, and he wasn't even a year old yet.

He suddenly used the arrows and swerved into Spruce's car, making it crash into the wall.

Spruce: HEYYYY! 😡😡😡

Branch pressed another arrow to move towards Floyd's car, who started taking the lead for a while.

Branch pressed all arrows at the same time to spin and hit Floyd's car.

It got knocked out of the lane as Bitty B's car continued riding down.

Floyd's eyes filled with tears.

Floyd: NOOOOOO, MY CAR! *sniffs* WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! 😭😭😭

Clay: Stop crying like a baby!

Spruce pats Floyd in the back.

Spruce: It's okay. My car got knocked out too. You're not the only loser. Also there can only be one winner.

Branch started making a move for JD's car. The forest green vehicle was going very slow.

Branch let his car slow down too as Clay's went zooming past theirs.

Clay: SO LONG, SUCKERS! HEHEHEHHHHHHHH!!! 😎

Branch started hitting the back of JD's car multiple times until it finally went on fire.

JD: NOT AGAINNNNN!!! *throws his remote down on the rug* THIS IS THE THIRD TIME MY CAR CAUGHT ON FIRE! AND IT'S BECAUSE OF AN INFANT THIS TIME! 😠

Branch started picking up speed for his blue car and eventually went neck and neck with Clay's yellow car.

Clay: There's no way you're gonna win, buddy! You may be fast, but I'm the best out of—

Bitty B moved his car closer to Clay's so the yellow car had no space to move.

Clay: You think that's gonna stop me!? 😈

Clay crashed into Bitty B's car.

Clay: Take that!

But Branch didn't give up.

He pressed the jump button and had his car jump over Clay's.

Clay: WH—

Branch's car made it to the finish line first.

Clay just stared at the screen, his eyes widening and his mouth open. He said nothing and didn't blink.

Spruce: HOW—

JD: He's just a baby and he BEAT US!!! 😡😡😡

Floyd started to tear up again.

Floyd: Ohh, I KNEW I was gonna lose again! *sniffs* WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! 😭😭😭

Just as Grandma Rosiepuff walked in.
